I'm not a big fan of organizations stripping champions of their belts but in this case I'm glad they did it. Brahmer doesn't want to defend his title and is getting in the way of other fights being made. Shumenov and Cleverly could have signed to face other top guys instead of wasting their time with Brahmer and having to settle for short notice opponents.

Brähmer is a low-life POS. Mentally challenged, with a long list of personal battery and injury cases throughout his life.

    Inbred

I'm not from Alabama incest isn't a big problem in the New York City area but nice try. But you didn't seem to have any defense for your boy and his ****** childish actions and you also seem to think he likes to have sex with men so I guess him pulling out of fights makes even more sense.

100 year talent.... Who knew that it wasn't his boxing talents they meant but his talent to pull out of fights. Hopefully this waste of life retires or goes back to jail so we don't have to deal with his bull**** anymore.

Brahmer clearly doesn't want to defend so it is good he was stripped. I bet he ends up in rehab with a drug addiction.

It looks like defending a title by cancelling a fight is almost routine in Germany nowadays. Off the top of my head also Dimitrenko did it against Sosnowski lately.

I'm glad even sanctioning bodies said enough is enough (eventhough they were probably motivated by the money loss). Too bad Brahmer career went that way, since some years ago he looked to be really hot prospect.

Once he's in the ring he's actually a bit of a guts-and-glory warrior. He is the type who will try to knock you out until the final bell rings, you go down, or he goes out on his shield.

The problem is getting him in the ring in the first place against those he feels he doesn't have a good chance against. :yep

Cherrypicker might be more apt than coward. :good

He always was an idiot. Hope he retires now and stays retired.

    Right, I agree.

When he does deign to grace the ring with his presence though, against opponents he deems beatable, he does conduct himself like a gladiator. That's the only point I was making.

When someone hits and hurts him (like Sukhotsky) he doesn't adopt a running or spoiling style. He stands there and takes his lumps.
