Brähmer just stopped glazewski

These Braehmer fights are a joke, the opponents he fights are pure ****. The sad part is that he's a decent fighter but he hasn't tested himself. I think he could give someone like Pascal or even Stevenson a lot of problems.

 

Well, if there's a way to look impressive in this kind of fight I guess that's as close as he can get. It was a complete mismatch, but I expected it to go until at least the mid rounds. Brahmer could probably give Stevenson a run for his money, but he probably doesn't like his chances against Kovalev and figures there's money to be made at SMW.

I agree, but getting those guys(especially Stevenson) isn't easy. h2h Brahmer could very well be the 2nd or 3rd best LHW at the moment, you wouldn't think that by looking at his record/resume.

Brahmer SHOULD move down for some high paying German fights. Wouldn't want poor guy to get KOd by Kovalev or Beterbiev at the end of his career.

 

Damn he hit him in the liver and while he was going down tapped his face too for good measure, no wonder he was peed off with him wouldn't really shake his hand lol

 

Braehmer is probably one of the best LHWs out there, but I just can't see him travelling at this point in his career, and no-one who's good enough to actually really test him is likely to want to travel to Germany.

Perhaps Chilemba might ... or maybe he could be coaxed down to Monacco to fight Alvarez (though I'm not sure how GYM would feel about that one).

Nah... sad though it is, whilst there's the Stieglitz / Sturm / Abraham fights which will sell well in Germany - I really can't see Braehmer suddenly deciding to dig out his passport.

Unfortunately Stevenson ducked Brähmer after the contract was almost fixed .. not sure who will be Brähmers next opponent.

Glazewski went ten with shot RJJ, FWIW. He also has a couple of halfway decent scalps in Ngumbu and Bryant...although beyond his resume thins out quickly with just Tomas "Not That" Adamek and then a bunch of cans.
