Perhaps his WBO ranking will improve considerably :)

Ian John Lewis with another shocking 99-92 card in the Callum Johnstone fight where many thought the Russian won it.

Literally just seen this fight and what a joke that was. Fathertimw and inactivity looks to have caught up with Johnson.

Seriously though the British board needs investigating, the whole thing stinks.

Was watching the fight as had Johnson in a treble with Fury and Smith - thought my money was gone at the first hurdle as I had him losing by 2 rounds. His face was all smashed up and I did not recognise the same man in there last night.

    Round 1 Emurlaev 10-9

Server giving Callum almost non stop lateral movement, clips his with combos every time Callum sets his feet. Then he pivots away, Callum closed the distance a few times ad landed some heavy rights, but Server who is massive and a former Cruiserweight seemed to take most of them fine.

    Round 2 Emurlaev 10-9, close

Scrappy ugly round, with Server still moving gingerly, slapping Callum around his high guard to the side of his head, Callum did a better job cutting off the ring and landing compact heavy blows, most of them hooks to the head, but Server would usually immediately fire back adn land some clean one twos every time he did.

    Round 3 Johnson 10-9

Pretty one sided round for Callum, Server's output dropped precipitously, Callum was calmly walking him down, sinking a punishing heavy jab into his midsection, occasionally pinning him on the ropes and loading up with hooks to the body, Server attempted a few flurries late, but most were caught on teh high guard of Johnson.

    Round 4 Johnson 10-9

Server's activity has dropped of a cliff, Callum just hammering him with jabs to the body and one twos, Server hauling ass, he tried to sit down on a few combos, but Callum would catch him with sme vicious rights which would fly his head.

    Round 5 Johnson 10-9

Server looking more and more passive, looks to have given up on himself, like he just wats to survive. Callum getting more aggressive, clipping him with right after right, most not fully flush. Callum lands nasty one two, prompting Server to hold. Server trying to get his jab going again, but Callum punishing him with vicious left hooks to the body and an uppercut that's popping his head straight up in the air.

Server almost doing the Ali shuffle trying to get away from Callum, but throwing little. Callum peppering him with jabs every time he stands still, and even a few while he's on the move. Callum with a lead right that flies his head. Callum starting to lunge more and more, getting frustrated, Server grabbing, holding and wrestling. Ref breaks them, warns Server for pushing. Callum in predator mode. Looks pissed, Server holding and spoiling like a maniac, brutal right hook from Callum lands up top.

Server still being passive for the first minute, but comes roaring back to life, like he caught his second wind, and teed off on Callum with fast snappy combinations around the high guard, he even managed to sting Callum with a one two, that appeared to have him slightly buzzed late in the round.

Server comes out, lands a one two, then decides to press the action, landing in combination throughout the first minute and sporadically for the rest of the round, but it's also giving Callum opportunities to land one twos counters of his own, a few seemed to shake up Server a time or two with them, which was almost enough to slightly edge the round in Callum's favor, but not quite enough in my estimation.

Server on his bike from beginning to end, seems to have figured out Callum's time, so he's rolling with the hooks, he stayed on the backfoot, moved constantly and keeping jabbing him to the head and body, Callum oversht late, almost went through the ropes, Server took advantage and landed a heavy combination that shook the caught off guard Callum up.

EMurlaev back to being passive again, stayed on the backfoot, barely threw anything giving Johnson the opportunity to land several jabs to the body and som clubbing rights up top. Server landed a beauty of an uppercut in the last minute, but Callum took the play away by rocking him with a right to the temple before the bell.

    95-95

96-94 Emurlaev is fine, but 96-94 Johnson is as well. This was the epitome of a drawish type fight.
