**** off with accusing Pitt of being a cheat...he was following the refs instructions simple as that. What Pitt showed was a solid chin to come from that knock down and put on a total display.

 

Boxon can you honestly say Victor got a fair go in that fight. Reverse the roles & tell me it was a fair fight. You'd be crying bull**** if Pitt was treated like that & you would be right. No dissing on Pitt but before he moves on to the next stage of his career he should grant Victor a rematch. He can't be real happy with that W on his log without having doubts.

 

if you call holding someones head down, leaning over them and pushing them down, pushing with both arms away, etc legal, and sportsmanlike, then you are as big a farce as he is.

there are ****en rules. boxers employ tactics to win within the rules. oganov came out to mug pitt. to ko him early.....which he did. he used his gas. but it paid off..

what SHOULD have happened was a ko victory to oganov, DESPITE pitts illegal tactics and a cheating referee.

but no. pitt was given illegal advantage. a count stopped so a mouthguard could be retrieved(!!!!!!!), and the ref let pitt get away with every illegal hold, push or lacing of the face.

i'll give pitt the benefit of the doubt on the thumbing...but not the ref. he was a dead **** and is tarred with the same brush as pitt.

 

Given a rest after being knocked down, massage, water, allow him to regain compusure and then claim he has a solid chin? Did you forget that Oganov isnt a Cruiserweight, he is a Super Middleweight. A super middleweight hurt Pitt and you claim he has a solid chin? hahahaha

He was walking through Pitts punches, the only thing that hurt Oganov was the thumb to the eye and a forarm to the throat, along with the bullsht tactics of Pitt and his Corner in the corruption of the rules and referee.

And Pitt did cheat, he knew that pushing isnt allowed, neither is using your forarm to push a fighter off, pushing his throat with forarm, constantly holding, using both hands to pull opponents head down etc. Spat his mouthguard out when knocked down, did it on purpose and tried to spit it outside of the ring. He was gone and should have been counted out, as far as im concern as alot of others who watched that fight, Oganov won.

 

No doubt the ref was pathetic, needs to be reprimanded(which wont happen) & a rematch should happen to fix this mess.

 

You called Pitt a cheat you **** head. Boxers choose all kinds of different tactics to employ during a contest it is solely the referees position to ensure the fight is held within the rules. Pitt served Oganov a beat down by fights end despite taking the best shots Oganov had to offer....speaks volumes of Pitts gumption.

 

Can any of you so called experts explain how the fight was ended and why?

Questions to the so called experts on here...

Calling for a rematch or suggesting it be the right thing for Pitt to do.....weren't you also the brains trusts behind slagging off Pitt for taking on Oganov in the first instance, comments about the weight difference and that Oganov was past it....talk about small minded hypocrites on here.

And still no one wants to recap how or why the fight ended........anyone with half a brain would never mention rematch after seeing what Oganov got served.

 

no. these are my first comments on the fight. before or after..

it ended because oganov was gassed, as his game plan was thwarted by illegal tactics and a corrupt official who should be locked in a dark room and fed mouldy bread soaked in urine for a year.

oganov fought to win early. he was denied the win he deserved, and couldnt drop pitt again, unfortunately. due to the FACT that pitt was using illegal tactics and was never warned once by a corrupt official who denied oganov an obvious victory......

The fight ended with Pitt commiting another foul, ref after the 100th time ignores it and Oganovs fed up with it and quits. How many times should a boxer have to defeat his opponent before his hand is raised in victory? hows that question suit you lol

 

based on the Oganov fight Green would **** Pitt up but if Brad could land a shot like he did against Ammann lights out Greeny. Green will retire IMO hes 39 isn't he and when he retired before 1 month before he was to fight Garay he said it was because his health and future as a husband or father was important blah blah. 25.40 min mark - Pitt pulling Oganovs head down with both hands, Oganov trys to punch out. Pit then lets him go, as Oganov props up Pitt pushes him with the elbow or forarm, Oganov looks to ref and ref waves to contuine, ref gives Pitt no warning, offical or unofficaly.

26.00 min mark - Oganov is coming forward, nothing Pitt does stops him or appears to hurt him, Pitt then grabs Oganov in a headlock as Oganov makes it on the inside of Pitts punches. Pitt is seen here doing an illegal choke hold move known as a
