Brad Pitts next opponent

I think what we have to remember as pitt fans is his still only boxed around 40 pro rounds.
He has a ton of talent, but i do agree he makes a lot of mistakes but i think it just inexperience.
He seems to punch himself out and not pace himself.i wouldn't be doing any big international fights yet.i would get about 80 rounds under his belt first.his got heaps of talent and with more experience will go a long way..

 

Vulnerable to Gritty attacking fighters,

 

Keeps his hands to low and relies on his quick hands to do the damage. Needs a much tighter defence against more polished opposition.

 

i think Pitt needs to use his Southpaw jab more his relying on the one punch home run and definitely has stamina issues,Pitt and David Aloua would be a great fight and a test for both fighters...

I agree but he is between a rock and a hard place he can't apparently get local CW's to fight him so he is fighting whoever will get in the ring with him. Hard to improve when you can't get quality opponents to fight you. OS might be the answer but it might cost shitloads.

Dom Vea is one name that comes to mind. Plus the guy Vea went to war with a couple of years ago, Oscar Siale. Siale is 40 and probably fading, but may still be a reasonable match-up. Particularly when you factor in that Brad Pitt has only fought about 40 pro rounds in total.

Vea has retired I heard and Pitt blasted the usually sturdy Siale a few years ago.

 

This was a good fight imo. As Sydney has pointed out, Pitt needs more rounds under his belt, i think he is used to the pace of fighting so many 4 rounder amateur fights and he hasnt been able to rack up many round as a pro. Its a pitty more CWs dont step up and challenge him.

I also thought that Pitts corner work was pretty good, especially liked how the blood was being wiped off him, wasnt a good look and it wasnt his blood, good job in cleaning it off him asap.

In an Aus box interview, Pitt was admitting he still isnt where he wants to be. Still loading up on punches and gassing out quickly. Be good to see Pitt show some patience, dissect an opponent then pick which punches he wants to load. He was missing with punches quite a lot with Casey and standing and trading too much for mine. The big positive is that he seems pretty aware of where to improve and I think he'll get there with a bit more experience.

 

Agree with tc and bruiserh if pitt can be patient and pace himself his going to be a much better fighter its good to see he knows the mistakes his making.i think when he stops trying to ko people with every punch and uses his jab more he will be ready to step up

 

Pretty sure that was only a few weeks after his war with DV. Sad to see DV retire his fights with McCracken,Siale and Cameron were epic.
