Chuck should be allowed to fight agian if he wants hes has that right but not in the UFC he just cant hang with these top level fighters anymore obviously.
Franklin was Chucks last huraah !!! A feather fisted striker who was gonna stand with Chuck and bang it out , and Chuck got knocked cold , that IMO is that !!!!! I as a fan would tune into 1 fight and 1 fight only involving Liddell and that would be Liddell vs Ortiz 3 , even that fight is completley irrelevant of the 205 lb division but still has a marketable angle , in that it will probably be billed as Chuck and Tito's last fight , so it has some sort of credibility at least . As for Chuck fighting outside of the UFC , Chuck , big man , please dont do that ............. :good Edit : thats if Tito beats Hamill BTW ..........
Chuck LOVES to fight. Thats what he was born to do. If he wants too he should have the right to do so and make his even if its not in the UFC. Other promotions would love to have him.
Franklin is not that whatsoever. You're silly. But yes, a prime Chuck would've walked through Franklin. Simply put, the guy doesn't want to call it quits, it's all he's known. His life is probably quite empty without fighting, it's just like losing a piece of yourself I imagine, nothing compares to hearing thousands upon thousands of fans chanting your name and the moment you're crowned the champion. Chuck always had such a fierce intensity in his fights, it's hard to get that from anything else in life, except maybe cocaine which Chuck's probably dabbled in. This content is protected Legendary.
But then Chuck would be doing Dana/UFC a huge dis-service by bringing popularity to another org. Chuck said if he can't take a run at the title then he doesn't think he wants it. I think Chuck needs to be beaten by a much lower level fighter to accept its over.
Im silly am I And your the one who shows a clip of Chuck coked up to death watching Tito Ortiz fight Vitor Belfort to in some way shape or form show he's a true fighter :good Look man , Rich Franklin has no power !!! , look at the current bangers kicking around 205 then try and rank Franklin as a heavy hitter , the guy is a kick boxer who looks to use precise strikes and mixes up his arsenal of strikes to keep opponents guessing , and take home a decision , didnt even come close to hurting Henderson or Wanderlei and knocked Chuck the **** out :deal with a 5 inch uppercut , come on man !!!! Chucks done . And this is something ill argue with anyone , Liddell was not the world class striker he was made out to be back in the day , yes his stand up was amongst the best in the world , but he was by no means an elite striker , look at the way Tito was landing on Chuck in there 2nd fight during rnd 2 , any top striker makes Tito look awful on his feet ala Machida ................ Chuck happened to be among wrestlers when he was in his peak in the UFC and they were well suited to his style . And im tellin you this right now , in his prime Liddell would of had more than his hands full with Franklin :deal
