Ok, let me rephrase.. He didn't cheat, but was unfair.. If anything it was JMM's fault for continuing on with the fight.. JMM is horrible at negotiating so of course he took the money..

So Khan's not the man at 140 until he beats Bradley? Bradley screwed himself out of a fight with Khan the first go round.. Look at both of their resumes at 140 and at also who the bigger draw is..

Khan could very well fight any of those guys at 147, even Brook, but from my standpoint, I don't Khan should have to fight any of those names to get a fight with Mayweather, if Mayweather is going to fight smaller fighters and/or people coming up with a horrible record.. Ortiz was tailor-made for Mayweather, plus he was a southpaw, so that's why I think Mayweather took the fight..

Besides, I don't think Khan is going to get an immediate fight with Mayweather anyways, as Mayweather will probably have a lay-off.. Khan will probably end up fighting one or two fights at 147 first, but what I'm saying is I don't think he has to.. I think he's earned a fight with Mayweather if Mayweather isn't going to fight Pac or Martinez (which they could at 154)..

Why. 70/30 is an insult and quite frankley Khan isn't that big a draw in the US, to warrant that money. 70/30 shows everyone it is Khan who doesn't want to fight.

You are correct Khan isn't the man at 140 because Bradley is, and he would have to beat Bradley to establish a new lineal title and true champ of the division since Manny is done there after beating Hatton. We have already told you why the fight with Bradley did not happen previously, he was in a promotor dispute and had to wait out his contract and arbitrate to get closure that he now has with Top Rank. Look at both their resumes, Bradley is easily superior at 140. Khan is a big draw in the UK I would guess, he isn't any bigger than Bradley in the US.

If you don't think Khan needs to increase his US profile to get a fight with Mayweather you are sadly mistaken or a blind fanboy. Khan has no US profile, no good US showings, and has fought limited comp. The peterson fight will change the comp picture, but Peterson was already beaten by Bradley. That won't be enough to shot him to being the man at 140 and able to credibly challenge Mayweather.

What has he done to earn a fight with Mayweather? LOL. beating Judah? LOL. Struggling with Maidana? LOL. Struggling with McClotskey? LOL.

 

If Bradley really wants the fight that bad then he'll accept 70/30 to get it made. Khan is the still the bigger draw and is the number 1 ranked guy at 140 according to The Ring magazine and most rankings. Bradley had his chance at a 50/50 split and turned it down, Khan has moved on since then and now it's Bradley that's the one who desperately needs him.

I don't know why he's bringing up McCloskey in the first place.

In my opinion, he fought a more dangerous version of McCloskey in Judah, and answered all the questions and passed with flying colors.

McCloskey, a decent fighter in his own right, is just a guy that Khan didn't feel like he had to get up for.

What makes him any less deserving of a 50/50 split than he was 6 months ago? What has changed since the intial fight was proposed...other than Khan beating a shot to **** Judah (and yeah Judah is shot to **** and sucks donkey balls, I'm sorry about his cult like following but Judah sucks as it stands today)? All of these variables that you refer to that make Bradley "undeserving" were in place 6 months ago as well...why are they issues now, relative to then?

Bradley vs Alexander was in the largest indoor arena in the United States, The Pontiac Silver Dome. And had an attendence of 6,000 out of a possible 80,000+ . The attendance included free tickets to all military, police, firemen, EMS, and veterens.

What bugs me is the fighters are focused on the 50/50 split. Not actually seeing who the true champ is at 140.
