No, but given Khan's performance with McCloskey, I suspected that Judah had a very good shot, especially considering he was on a good run with Whitaker as his trainer.

I figured if McCloskey gave Khan that sort of trouble, a much faster, harder hitting Judah would probably knock him out.

Obviously that didn't happen, but just the fact that Khan took on a guy that was percieved as being dangerous, and beat the **** outta him deserves props from me.

And Khan took a beating against Maidana and some refs would have called the fight, but the fact is, he hung in there and won the fight and showed a lot of heart.

The dude is proving again and again he's no punk ass *****.

Bradley is the one that TALKED ALL THAT ****, and then when it came down to the fight ran away like a *****.

So, why the **** does he deserve 50/50 after talkin all THAT ****, tryin to RUIN Khan's rep, and then runnin away like a straight *****?

It's about respect. Bradley doesn't bring any money. He don't bring anymore money than Ortiz and probably barely anymore than Peterson.

My point is, Khan has options.

If Bradley wants the fight, shut the **** up and take that 30%. You missed the bus, so now you gotta pay the price.

This is what I want to know. I don't really have an issue with him asking for more 60/40, but 70/30 is **** IMO.

How about you, and the rest of the idiots who keep repeating the same bull****, ask yourself why Bradley had issues with his promoter in the first place? It was his decision to go back on his word and not face Khan, that landed him in the **** and forced him to sit out as long as he as. You may want to read Dan Rafael’s thoughts on the matter:

And in regards to TR and GBP doing fights with each other, as far as I’m aware, they’ve not done a notable fight since Pacquiao-Hatton in 2009. They may have done a couple of shitty little fights here and there, but nothing which has involved big money. Unless you can correct me?

Honestly, it’s blatantly obvious what Timmy is doing here. He knows a 140 unification is no longer possible, and he’s just saving face. As mentioned, he’s pulled the same trick before with Khan. And once again, the prats on the General are falling for it hook, line and sinker.

 

I find it kinda humorous that this reminds me of the 14 days ---> 0 days argument where one side argued that Floyd was moving the goalpost thus didn't want the fight, and the other side argued that it's a new deal.

Well honestly I don't think that Bradley really deserved 50/50 to begin with. Maybe 55/45 or 60/40. Wasn't there a rumor that they were giving away tickets for the Alexander fight? They had it at the silverdome and struggled with ticket sales iirc

 

The fact that after Bradley's blatant duck Khan is now seen as the top man at 140lbs not Bradley, Khan was willing to pay Bradley handsomely then for the opportunity to prove his superiority but now most have Khan number 1, the situation has changed and so have the terms. Combine that with the fact Khan plans to move up in weight as he is growing, so would need some form of incentive to go through the pain of making 140lbs one last time.

 

I don't think he 'deserved' 50/50 to begin with either.. But that was the offer.. I just don't see any reason for Khan to say he's not worth it now, except Khan doesn't want to offer it. If there's any actual reason other than that I take back my complaint, but I don't see any.

 

Guys, what's the point of even discussing the split, when it's an impossibility to even make the fight. He's signed with Top Rank, for crying out loud. He knows the fight's not going to happen in the forseeable future.

 

Lame arguments Khan fanboys are throwing out. There is no reason a 50/50 offer with Bradley was good enough 6 months ago but not good enough now. There is no reason Khan can't take the best fight out there for him after Peterson and fight Bradley at 140 for the title of undisputed and new lineal champion.

Bradley hasn't dropped many notches on most people's list, it's mostly those who are upset at him for not taking the fight. And it's been all of what, 6 months? We have an opportunity to unify 140 and we support the fight not happening because Khan doesn't feel Bradley's worthy of a the split anymore? How did the situation change, besides some fans saying Khan is the top man at 140 because Bradley didn't take the fight when they wanted?

Unifying the 140 division isn't enough incentive to make 140 one last time? How long has Khan been around? People are accepting him going the Mayweather/Manny route of risk vs reward way too early in his career IMO.

 

I agree this may be a HUGE hiccup in getting the fight made.. But let THAT be the reason, not Bradley somehow shouldn't get offered the same split when nothing has changed between the two...
