....was 6,247 according to Larry Lage on Y! Sports. Well...that's a hell of a lot better than we were expecting. I'm not saying that's a great number, but maybe boxing isn't dying as fast as some are predicting.

    Thoughts?

Ummm I heard anybody who had an army uniform could come in for free so I'm guessing there was quite a few people not paying a dime.

I really didn't think it was that bad, at least until the physician's stoppage.

Was really looking forward to this fight actually and I am not American. But wow, what a **** fight, I don't like to discredit fighters but these guys were seriously talked about and everybody goes on about how they would both beat Amir Khan and then they preform like that? I think they are both really nice guys and good boxers but, I want Amir Khan to slap Bradley up just because he on purposely uses his over-sized head, and you can see in the replays, he is pushing his head forward and pulling a face like he is getting ready for the impact.

There were shitloads of free tickets, I wouldn't be surprised if it sold under 2000.

that fight may have help in killing boxing, in this case it would have been better if the numbers who attended were less

This fight would only do well in St Louis. But who cares......just enjoy the fights. I don't know how many live fights you have been to, but most don't have large crowds.

A ton of televised fights have about 6,000. Do you know after Shane beat DLH his next fight was in MSG (in the small room) and they had a crowd of a little over 5,500. Most people can't draw large crowds in boxing. SUCH IS LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
