The CSAC have changed the result from a Bradley TKO to a No Contest.

    Thoughts?

What is the difference between a No Decision and a No Contest? Or is it the same thing?

IIRC correctly 'no contest' is the correct term. 'No decision' fights date back to the 1930s when boxing was allowed but it was illegal to render a decision.

    Ah, thanks.

So fights that have newspaper decisions are really no decisions since there was no official decision?

    Yep!!:good

The justification was that the authorities would allow boxing as an exhibition but not as a contest, hence No Decision. It was handy for the champs as the only way to lose their title was to get KO'd.

Apparently they nearly settled things on the streets afterwards. Bradley telling Campbell you quit or something, Campbell incensed goes over to TB taking off his jacket ready for a ruck, TB's Dad steps in fron of his son, Nate tells TB to stop hiding behind his Dad and that he'll get him either on the sidewalk or in the ring.

We need a rematch now. This score needs settled. The press conferences should be interesting.
