Bradley-Chaves Possibly Off

Come to think of it, Ortiz doesn't have an opponent set on the same night either...

 

I can't find anything about this. Other than the ops link which isn't even in English. This fight is bound to be far more exciting than khan-Alexander so I'm not sure why u all seem happy if it was off. New breed of boxing fans...

 

I agree it will probably be an much more entertaining fight then Khan-Alexander but the problem is that Bradley has just come off back to back fights with two Top 5 P4P guys in Marquez and Pac and is now fighting Chaves, a guy who isn't even a Top 10 Welterweight.

It surely wouldn't have been that difficult for them to make the rematch between Bradley and Provodnikov...the simple fact is that they probably went for Chaves because he was a lot cheaper to get.

 

Didn't want to see this fight anyway . It had no appeal .

Rather see those fights .

 

As fearless as Bradley is .

He will never get into the ring with Ruslan again .

That fight was a absolute nightmare for him .

Bradley's coming off a loss and a string of top level fights and Chaves is a tough entertaining guy. I wouldn't call it an easy fight. Brads has no intention of getting back into the ring with provodnikov. Ruslan has been trying since the day after the fight. For some reason I'm just not upset with tim for that. I feel like I should be, but...He's a good dude, not a **** talker, and he's stated that it was brutal and recovery was rough and that he'd do it again but they were gonna have to pay hhim a hell of a lot of money to get back in the ring with ruslan. Provodnikov hasn't done much to build his brand since. Which I attribute to bad management and promotion and not to provodnikov himself. So basically the money that tim would expect (and arguably deserve) just wouldn't be there.

Why rios over Chaves? Not sure there much distinction in levels between the 2. And broner? Come on man, bradley is multi faceted enough to whip broner in several different ways. I'd love to see it happen tho. Doubt broner would do it.

Hbo has more viewers and boxing fans are fickle. Once the hug fest between khan Alexander gets old casuals will be changing the channel. It could compete. Khan Alexander is a more relevant match up and I'm glad it's happening, but it's the kind of fight I could have more fun reading about than actually watching.
