Been going on for a couple decades before that. By the mid-60's they were already well established in Olympic and spreading like wildfire in professional sports.
Where's the source? Its a simple argument this, if fighters know other fighters are using they should name and shame.
I've said 70% for years. Way back when people thought Armstrong was an obviously clean athlete and when Bonds and Sosa were seen as the only ball players to roid.
Bradley ain't on 2000+ PED's but if he fought in the 70's or 80's they'd called them PED's....same with every boxer
He pulled that number directly out of his ass. The truth is he doesn't have a ****ing clue how many boxers are using PEDs... And neither does anybody here.
I love bradley and I want nothing but happiness and success for him....but that being said he admitted to having a period of time where he had slurred speach after the provognikov fight.....thats some scary ****. i hope he gets out of boxing soon because the way he's going he'll be eating out of a straw soon enough.
Why not just let all boxers dope since all the top guys are all cheating anyways. Its quiet ******ed.
Nah, it started big time in athletics in the 50s/60s with the East/West divide and everyone somehow trying to prove that having better athletes somehow made their social system superior. Was never really acknowledged 'til the 70s/80s though. Govt. sponsored doping then spread into wider sports. In fact probably even before that: the Nazis were big time dopers at the '36 Olympics but it was more amphetamines / cocaine back then I think, rather than what we'd call PEDs now.
