Marquez is the only one of those three I would have chosen.

Chris John should have been inducted, also Wonjongkam. They had a better careers than Bradley for sure. Dariusz M should have been inducted too.

It's easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than it is for anyone not from the US or UK to be inducted into the IBHOF.

When you think of a who’s who in a division for an era then it’s understood that Carl Froch was more than deserving. He fought EVERYBODY in his era and beat them all except 1. He didn’t allow for there to be a Sven Ottke. Undefeated Jean Pascal, Jermaine Taylor, Undefeated Andre Dirrell, Arthur Abraham, Mikkel Kessler, Undefeated Lucian Bute, Glen Johnson, Undefeated George Groves. That is by far a Hall of Fame resume.

Tim Bradley is a hard one because I’m not sure wins over Marquez at WW and Alexander at LWW is HOF worthy imo. His resume would have looked much better had he fought Amir Khan whom just beaten Marcos Maidana.

Rafa Marquez had the great rivalry with Vazquez and beat HOFer Mark Johnson.

Agreed. I have been on the Chris John buss for awhile. I really hope he gets in someday.

When people criticize selections like these being inducted into the HoF, its very easy to see they don’t know much about the HoF….

They all deserve it, as well as those whom you mentioned in OP.

Surprised really that Bradley and Froch got in. Both were good solid fighters but by ne means were they great.

See I can agree with your statement about Bradley. But to me Froch and Andre Ward cleaned out a strong division at the time. That is the deepest era of SMW. Froch being the #2 of that era behind an already HOF inductee in Andre Ward is no small feat.

    Pascal
    Taylor
    Dirrel
    Abraham
    Kessler
    Bute
    Groves
    That is a HOF resume.

When your best win at LWW is Devon Alexander and your only legit win at WW is Marquez. Not so much.

    Alexander
    Marquez
    Witter
    Holt
    Cherry
    Rios
    Vargas
    Peterson
    Provodnikov

That is not a HOF resume.

Marquez, Wonjongkam, John should have been the three. They went for a way weaker class than necessary.

Bradley should have fought longer, even just a few more years.

Meh, Meldrick Taylor would have have taken Bradley's lunch money and I am not sure I would have voted Froch in before a good number of guys on the ballot. Marquez is an okay selection, though I'm not sure he's the best sub-featherweight on the ballot.

Kingpetch was a good selection, however.

Desert Storm had a better career than Hatton, even though he didn't have the same fanfare. Their respective showings against Pacquiao confirm this.

Arturo Gatti is in, so I have no problem with Froch and Bradley making it. Froch's resume is beyond reproach. Meanwhile, Bradley unified at 140. Froch and Bradley also never lost to an opponent on the level of Angel Manfredy, Ivan Robinson, and Micky Ward. It also helps that they were never thrashed from pillar to post like Gatti versus Floyd and Oscar.
