Bradley has learned a LOT from this fight - can win the rematch (without controversy)

I was surprised at how effective the jab was for Timmeh especially since he's shorter than emmanuel

I think Bradley will be more dangerous for the rematch, but Pac as well. Timothy has witness the spotlight and has felt Manny's power/speed. Timothy should be given credit for the way he carried himself last night and being classy/gentleman just like Pac. He was being humble and very honest. Damn the dude fought perhaps with a mess up ankle from round 4 to the end, props to that:good

Me too. He was pinging it right though Pacquaio's guard regularly.

Those are the compubox stats which are less likely to be biased than just your oppinion or mine. It is also, however, how I every credible boxing journalist or expert saw the fight.

Timmeh confirmed what many knew about emmanuel. He's nowhere as effective if you box from long range or close quarters in the trenches.

I get the feeling I was watching a different fight from you. In the one I saw, Bradley landed a handful of good jabs but missed with more than 80% of those he did throw, getting largely negated by Manny's lateral movement.:huh

No, they're not.. not at all. Compubox is two HBO employees sitting at ringside pushing a button every time they THINK a punch landed. They aren't even ex - fighters or judges. They're just as vulnerable to bias or crowd reaction or commentators screaming beside them as anyone is. And Pacquiao is so popular and so 'explosive', people seem to assume he's landing nearly everything he's throwing. His stats are easily exaggerated.

and how one handed Manny was when Bradley circled to his left. Completely negated his offense with a simple foot motion.

Yes, it's all about range. And he spent 6 entire rounds trying to close the gap and corner Bradley and couldn't do it. i.e, Bradley was controlling how the fight was playing out from 6 onwards. That's ring generalship.

If you think he only "probably" won this fight, I have a hard time taking you oppinion seriously. Marquez "probably" deserved a close but clear decision over Pacquaio in their third fight. The fight last night was a clear robbery.

He landed something like 11% of his jabs and 51 in total. In no reality is that considered "effective". These guys who are claiming Bradley's jab was some sort of equalizer have no idea what they're talking about.

jabs don't always have to land especially against a southpaw, where it's harder to land.

the jab's purpose is to control distance, create opening for other punches, and cause cuts.

Besides, the compubox numbers for this and emmanuel's last fight were inflated for his favor

    :deal

Was just about to type out something similar. It's not always about landing it. All about controlling the action. Dude's talking about people not knowing what they're talking about and you have to explain to him the purpose of a jab in boxing. :-(

Okay, forget about the punch stats then. Pacquiao outlanded Bradley in 10 of the 12 rounds. He hurt Bradley in 4 of those rounds. The most significant shots were landed ON Bradley. Bradley didn't have ONE clear power shot land the entire fight. So basically some folks here think Bradley won rounds simply by pawing his jab out, not connecting with it or following it with a right hand....just pawing it out. Apparently, that's enough to win rounds. Even though the other guy, in these same rounds, is landing more significant shots, pushing the action, making the other guy miss more.

Yeah, evidently you guys qualify as judges.
