BRADLEY: "I didn't want to LIVE NO MORE. I wanted to DIE (AFTER Pac fight)"

I think it was on one of the 24-7 episodes or those HBO segements on YouTube. Can't remember. I think it's all bull****, to be honest. Just talk to sell himself. Dude is a devout Christian and with family and kids around him, as well as being one of the most mentally tough fighters in the game. Doubt he was ever on the verge of killing himself.

 

Far from a Drake. I grew up militant. Death and jail are omnipresent In my daily life. But I was too strong and smart to get caught in some trap. I didn't get killed cause I can see your thoughts. Not on no Houdini ****, but danger makes the senses sharper. I survived because I made the right decisions. Being a dumb ***** doesn't make you cool it just makes you a dumb *****

 

Obnoxious Pac fans who made death threats annoy the **** out of me and every one of them needed to be forced to line up to face Bradley in the ring. But to let them get inside your head? Bradley, you are better than that. I'm shocked. Sorry to say, but if they drove you to tears you are a *****. First of all, none of these cowards would have the guts to insult you in front of your face. Secondly, you made a ton of money. Third, even negative attention is good for a pro boxer in an entrepreneurial sport (ask Floyd). Fourth, it's not your fault the judges made a decision that upset Pac fans. And finally, your family and supporters are in good health and they have your back.

How many people in this world can say they are as successful as Tim Bradley? Not many. There's nothing for him to be upset about. Again, I'm shocked that he got so sensitive about fans heckling him. I admire Bradley's effort to prove what he's worth in the ring this past Saturday but he did it against the wrong guy. You just don't brawl with a brawler when you aren't a brawler. Bradley dodged a bullet.

 

Think about this. You've worked toward a goal almost your whole life. You acomplish your goal and no one gives you the crdit you deserve.

Going into the Bradley/Pacquiao fight. Pacquiao was the ferocious power puncher who was going to walk through Bradley's feather duster punches. Not only did Pacquiao not walk through Bradley's punches. Bradley pretty much won the first two minnuets of each round. He did this Kirk Gibson style.

I'm not getting into an argument over who won. I had it 115-113 for Pacquiao. Yes I put more weight on the last 1:00 of a round than the first 2:00. It was a close fight that Bradley got the nod in. He deserved crdit for his win. It should have been the hi-light of his life.

 

Not true. His fans support him 100%. After the Pac fight he received a warm welcome from his fans in his hometown. They threw a big party for him. And although not many, there are people in this forum who believe he beat Pac. You are happily married; you just made millions of dollars and you are an undefeated pro boxer. Wouldn't you be happy? I don't get it. I suppose I'd get annoyed over a few unkind words from fans but I'd get over it eventually. This guy Bradley was talking about suicide or was thinking about it. That's a bit disturbing.

lol. dude, it's not even close to being that bad. this aint the 1950's or 1960's. although there is still racism in the US and the odds are kind of stacked against us in the world, it's not blatant and black folks don't live in fear of white people anymore. only time i run into racism is online. most racist people are pussies and wouldn't say **** to a niqqas face. the majority of blacks love who they are and wouldn't choose to be anything else. speak for yourself homie.

 

I felt for Tim after the fight. I knew he was in for a big downward spiral and for nothing he did wrong. He tried his best, lost but was given a decision he never asked for. The guy has a heart of gold and he's a real warrior.

 

Menace 2 Society came out after and seemed to copy alot of boyz in the hood moments. Plus Boyz n the hood had better actors. Now this is coming from a white boy. I've spoken to alot of black friends who told me the liked Menace better and said it was more realistic. I disagree but what do i know

I didn't see this. I feel bad for all the hate he received after the robbery which was not his fault at all. And of course sending death threats to a fighter is just disgusting. You have a problem with the decision? Take it up with the judges!

Bradley must have been going through some horrible things but the way he fought last night was not the answer. He took unnecessary punishment trying to prove something to people who hate him, he damaged his health and his family could very well have lost a husband/father. Stupid thing to do.

Don't be a hater, be a fan. It's not a good look for posters that come on here and focus on tearing a fighter down. Not you personally but lots of avatars with Manny sleeping are due to just that.

For a long time I've hypothesized that boxers probably suffer from PTSD. I've never experienced war, but I can imagine that being in grueling gym wars in a bad gym situation and/or constantly getting beat on in what feels like a life-or-death situation in the ring can have lasting psychological effects. Add to that a life-time of longing for reaching the top level and the pressure that comes along with it, I can easily see plenty of fighters having issues.

 

But Bogo, you didn't laugh just a little when you saw the one where Manny was knocked down and Simba was trying to wake him up? :rofl:rofl:rofl

People shouldn't express their anger or discontent about the Pacquiao-Bradley fight on either Bradley or Pacquiao but on the judges since they were the ones who made the call.
