Let's keep it real, a lot of people are still sold on Bradley being an A- fighter behind the likes of Mayweather, and Pac. To be an A fighter or on the P4P list you must do something good or great, what does Bradley Good or great hell we got C class fighter that do one thing good or great so why is Bradley Hyped, let's go down the list. Good Jab? Nope, yet to see a nice pop in it Power? Nope , couldn't even finsih off a no name Lamont Peterson. Chin? Nope ask Kendall Holt Defense? Nope takes 2 to throw 3 i'm not saying he's a bumb, but he's not there and will never be there, but he he does have good stamina through the fight, but with out true skills it's only a matter of time till he gets exposed he's like a 140lb Jeff Lacy. My freind used to swear Lacy was the future when I never saw **** in him. If Bradley was in a video game like Fight night, he would be the guy with average marks through out his attributes O yea , Bradley has heart the most overrated asset in boxing, because if you have skills you wouldn't have to show heart every other fight. A lot of people didn't think Mayweather had heart just because his skills payed the bills and he never had to turn into a dragon. I don't have to say nomore because Alexander will come for him soo. And prove my point, and by the way Alexander has a good Jab with a nice pop that he can keep it going for 12 rounds.
Round one Gym in Bladensburg MD, like 5 min from DC, we get a lot people who come through like Paul Williams and Mr Peterson, Chop chop, and ding a ling man from the contender to name a few
Alexander will **** this guy up and Khan, if he gets past Midana will do a number on him as well. On his status, the way I look at it he's an A fighter right now. As in he can beat all the B+ fighters. But the future is shaky because he relise on assets that do not last for long. i.e. stamina, work rate, toughness. Really, he has great fundamentals but nothing flashy and he taxes himself too much in each fight to get the most out of everything he has for him to be able to keep it up for long. That being said he's always reminded me of a boot legged James Toney (the middle weight years) so that can be all that bad.
Cool man. I'm stationed in Bethesda, and finally settling down. I just started at Olympia Boxing in Falls Church. I heard about Paul Williams being in DC all the time. I actually saw him during the Mosley-Mayweather press conference.
I totally agree with you guys, i saw him when he fought Witter and no disrespect but he didnt really seem anything special, Witters a twat as well who didnt really do anything throughout the fight. I havent seem him fight but that Alexander sounds good, and khan is great too...just needs to sort the chin out. TB is just a poor mans JWW Holyfield complete with the moustache.
Agreed. Despite the 140lb division being full of good records, I don't see one stand out fighter. I don't see a young Mayweather, De La Hoya or Mosley or someone like that, amongst them. There is no potential great in the division.
Bradley is a solid around good fighter who is still young and will get better. He's elite at 140 and is a top 10 P4P fighter IMO. However the best fighter right now at 140 is Alexander who is even younger but has a better jab than Bradley a better counter-puncher and more pop.
You hit the nail right on the head there Most great fighters win there title in astonishing fashion Think Dempsey over Willard, Tyson over Berbick, Ali over Liston Bradley over Witter....errr no.
Nah witter was old at that stage (and lets be honest what did witter actually achieve ? who did he actually beat that's any good ?) and very much in the fight the whole way tbh won at least 4 - 5 rounds imo. And I think if Bradley were a true elite in the making he would have dominated the likes of witter a lot more convincingly. Bradley is a great fighter i just don't think he's going to go on to be an elite is all.
