Katsidis was low balled !!!! , the same offer as the Kevin Mitchell fight seems fair !!!!! :huh , hell no brother !!!!! , this fight against Khan will be doing double the PPV numbers Mitchell did and a similar if not bigger gate , the number seems moderate but look between the lines , Golden Boy are trying to pin a slave contract on Khans opponents on the gate , and on the PPV interest , as well as rights on future fights / re match clause , the set figure for Katsidis should be above £260'000 IMHO , they are selling Khans potential opponents short to squeeze every extra dollar they can out of the deals to honour Khans contract , its not good for the sport .

What it boils down to is this , Golden Boy are looking for the best deal financially for Khan first , and worrying about presenting a credible opponent second , and Khan is full of **** as his entourage , he is looking for high reward low risk just because he can , he is a terrible role model for a young world champion !!! , he started out as an ambitious young pro with lots of skills and talent and was actually quite humble !!!

Now ............ he is a business minded deluded young man who thinks he's better and more popular than he is :deal

I am not hating on Khan. His team are the ****ing morons. Instead of looking to put together an intruiging fight and exciting night for the fans, there looking to sign up the cheapest opponent possible that HBO and Sky accept.

But this fixed offer Peterson gets - $300k - isn't this subject to an increase when taking into account sponsorship, TV etc?

Given that Peterson was beaten up by Tim Bradley and looked like **** for large periods of the Ortiz fight and was given a gift draw !!! , $300'000 plus an instant world title shot is a good offer IMO , but i can see your point !!!

This is what too many people are failing to realise during these negotions :deal

exactly. If $300k is the best offer made it means no opponent has been offered higher than 20%
