Bradley - Maidana: Rescheduled For July 17th!

    I was never high on Timmy from the start, but he has proved me wrong. He seems to be improving with every fight and has shown different things in his game which tells me he can adapt to different styles and is on his way to becoming a complete fighter.

    It's definitely a good decision to not move to 147. I don't think he has the frame to weigh up 7lbs above. I think he beats Maidana quite comfortably, wouldn't be surprised if he stopped him in the first half of the fight.

    Btw does Bradley remind anyone else of Holyfield? He kinda has that Holyfield in him imo. And not just with his head work. lol

    Yeah a bit, or Hagler. He's not flashy but he's teak tough, and has deep rooted self belief. And he's getting better. I can see him carving out a long reign at 140.

    Good fight vs Maidana but Bradley to win comfortably for me, probably on the cards.

    Or he's ducking Alexander to fight an overrated slugger with a dodgy chin, who himself is ducking Khan, depending on how you want to slice the facts.

    I can't stress enough how impressed I am with the way Timmy fights each fight different. He doesn't get in the booth against a puncher. He can fight going backwards, (which i thought he could never do) he can fight from angles and use his jab like a fishing pole like in the Cherry fight. He can press the action and measure and stalk plus he has a very good chin, dedication and workrate. Maidana will struggle with the movement and speed and get cought coming in, like i said before i think Bradley can blast him out early.

    Maidana's injured his back and the fight has now been 'postponed':-(. Apparently it might be off all together, though, as Shaw is looking for a 'replacement':-(. Knew it was too pissing good to be true.

    The NEXT fight can be a unification with Khan!

    Agreed. Bradley should look for Alexander or the winner of Khan-Malignaggi now this is off- let's face it, the winner of that fight is only a month away. I am still massively disappointed that we won't see a Bradley-Maidana fight now, though:-(.

    Trust me, there wasn't enough space to add 'Fight Is Postponed' onto the thread title and in any case I changed it just after I bumped it. It's been rescheduled- see post above:good^^^.
