Kevin Iole is saying that the Bradley-Marquez fight did 375,000 buys and that 350,000 was the break even point.

Its unfortunate, because Bradley-JMM was a legit match where the winner was unknown. Was a lot more interesting to watch live than a FMJ match, where recently the outcome was never under reasonable doubt.

Dont get me wrong, its fun to watch FMJ give really expensive boxing tutoring lessons. I'm not hating. But for me it lacks the anticipation and drama of a good matchup and as such I never feel compelled to dish out the 80 odd dollars. Watching him host a clinic can wait until rebroadcast/On Demand is available.

    .35mil x $65 = 24,375,000/2 = 12,187,500

tr did still have income from the ad sales, gate receipts and international tv rights....they still made off a decent amount.

That is pretty crappy numbers TBH considering Both beat Pac and Bradley coming off of a fight of the year type fight. It only shows the immense cross over appeal of floyd and Pac

you have to remember, that is about what pac-morales/jmm1 or floyd-baldo/gatti are getting way back...it's decent.

...and fighters got paid way more than what they would get on free hbo or showtime.

Bradley wont be a draw until he starts talking trash, flashing rolls Royce and going to strip clubs I'm afraid  very good fighter though

    I hear you.

But for me, given JMM KO of Pac, Bradleys FOTY with Ruslan, both p4p fighters, and a 24/7 dedicated to the fight (none of the fights you mentioned had the type of promotion that goes into 24/7's, I think Mayweather vs Gatti had a countdown, at best)

All of that taken into account, I just cant count this as a good performance.

Its about as average as you can get for a p4p showdown between an undefeated American and a Mexican legend, both coming off good fights.

idk... its just imo. I just cant spin this as a positive thing. Was hoping for at least 450k.
