Great action fight. Bradley wins by a comfortable decision or gets a late round stoppage. Maidana may be crude but he's a hell of a puncher and doesn't look like a guy who would quit.
I dont think this fight will happen to be honest.... too good to be true. But if it does i see Bradley outboxing the hell out of Maidana and possibly stopping him late. Would be a great, meaningful matchup and a very good fight.
It would be great if this fight goes down. Alexander should fight the Campbell/Ortiz winner. This is the great thing about the 140 lb. division. Like the SMW division, there are a lot of talented fighters who aren't superstars. As such, they are much more willing to fight eachother. Now there are two primadonnas in the division(Pac, Khan). Pac should officially be vacating his Ring belt within the year and, quite frankly, Khan can go on fighting all the handpicked ligh hitters he wants for all I care.
Dan Rafael on top of his game. This would be great for the division. Plenty of time for Maidana to prepare for another fight.
Everybody wants Maidana now all of a sudden, Alexander,Bradley hell even Khan said he wants him after Pauli.
He's available for one thing. Most of the other names are fighting May 15 so that rules them out. Plus, no doubt HBO would put up more for this fight than the likes of Abregu, Spadafora or whoever else. I don't see either of these guys looking for soft touches at this stage. They both are looking to clear out the division. But I know you'd agree with me that if either of these guys is looking for a real challenge and to face a real champion, they should make a fight with Guzman.
Encouraging news. If Kim's report is indeed an accurate, the fight would seem likely to come to fruition. Hope it happens.
