Not a bad doubleheader but not a great one either. Bradley beat Petereson pretty clearly last time and there's no real need to do it again. Peterson's had some tough fights since Bradley so he's a more experienced fighter, which will help, but I think Bradley is still a big favorite.

Gamboa-Peterson is somewhat interesting. Gamboa will have to move up two divisions to face Peterson and he's already been off for over a year. Gamboa doesn't have the greatest chin and Peterson has some power, I think Peterson could be a dangerous fight for Gamboa.

Bradley's options with Arum are dry. He was better off facing Khan back in 2011 and beating him, before signing with GBP where he would have been in the mix for Matthysee, Maidana, Guerrero, Ortiz, etc. All decent fights in which one or two wins would have guaranteed a shot at Mayweather.

^^ All of that sounds much better than remaining inactive to fight a shot Casamayor, getting a gift decision against a fading Pac, and currently being in a position where you can't find a decent opponent. Best person he can fight is the Alvarado-Rios winner.

As a gamboa fan I don't like him fighting at 135 at all, I just think a lot of his effectiveness with his speed and power will be gone at that weight.

Timothy Bradley won their first fight clearly. A rematch may be more competitive but still the same result.

I not really bothered about who Yuriorkis Gamboa fights right now, would be happy just to see him back in the ring more frequently.

Agree 130 lbs would be a good weight for now if he is struggling to make 126 lbs. Would be a bad move if he moved up to 135 lbs and gets beat by a lesser boxer because he isn't as effective at 135 lbs.

the bradley/peterson rematch is weak. bradley vs vargas is actually a decent fight.

Peterson is a good name opponent. Their first fight was pretty good

He's way better than a guy like Vargas or Zab Judah.
