I think if Bradley forgets about the fans and goes back to his normal boring style of boxing from the outside, and just holding/smothering (and head-butting) on the inside, he wins a wide points decision... or stops Ruslan with cuts around the eyes.

Provodnikov could make adjustments too... He probably could have stopped Tim when he had him hurt if he didn't get so over-excited and start throwing wild... He needed to take half a step back, give himself a little space and place his shots a little better. And not forget go to the body!!!

A couple of well placed body-head combinations at the right moment and Ruslan would be the WBO welterweight champion right now.

But I can't see Bradley giving him those chances again by trying to stand in the pocket and brawl. He learned his lesson the 1st time.

    Bradley U.D.

As great as this fight was... I don't wish a rematch on either guy.

Bradley. UD. He'd have learned from that fight more than Provodnikov did.

You have to imagine Joel Diaz is going to hammer all his points home into Bradley's thick skull during camp and video watching sessions long before they set foot in the ring.

Whether anything he throws at that wall manages to stick... :conf

If Bradley tries again the same way, his luck might run out.

Anyone suggest Timmy look into changing corners?
Diaz gave great movement advice but where was the clinching...

Joel Diaz has been his coach for at least eight years to my knowledge, maybe longer.

    That is a big step...

The chief second needs to have their x's and o's down but also be a voice of calming authority. Diaz has the former and on the surface seems to have the latter - but Tim just wouldn't ****ing listen. It wasn't that Diaz was unfocused, or wishy-washy, or lacking firmness in his tone attempting to get Bradley's attention, nor was he going too far in the opposite extreme direction and pulling a "Teddy Atlas" or berating/talking down to Bradley...I think it's more an issue with Tim himself. He needs to get his big head out from his narrow behind and listen to his corner rather than assume he can shovel himself out from any hole that his bravado lands him in.

Bradley's manager would be stupid for even considering instant rematch.

..I can't believe the recovery skills of Tim! Legendary stuff.

In quite a few rounds, yes he did.

There were however those in which he denied Provodnikov the chance to do so by making adjustments.

The question in the rematch is whether Bradley can be smart the whole time.

    Bradley 9-3 or 8-4
Provodkinov could still win rounds but wont have Bradley out on his feet

Ruslan, man. His power is going to be the same. Bradley is still going to feel it at times, even if he tightens up the ship on his D. He is never that slick that he never gets touched; that isn't his game.

I see no reason to expect Tim won't get hurt again in a rematch no matter what game plan tweaks he and Diaz make. He'll just soldier through it again, most like.

vargas recovered very well during the tito fight as well.

and then he never recovered again.

there is a chance that bradley is damaged goods at this point.
