I honestly don't know why he bothers. Didn't he do this before with the Hopkins fight? The kids entire career has been a mess. He`s been involved in the domestic merry-go-round for what seems like an eternity and has never had the will dedication or class to climb out of the gutter. I used to think boxing was a way out for him. Obviously not.

 

Plus he has a bit of a belly on him. To cover it he wears his shorts very high like an uncle tom.

Calzaghe needs better sparring partners.

 

Yes since Andy Flute retired and bought a pub JC has not had any decent sparring partners.

 

Joe has never been big on sparring, he just relies on his natural talent.

 

He has better ability than Jamie Moore who's been hyped too much since Ko'ing Macklin who never beat anyone decent at domestic level.

Moore has better commitment though because he doesn't get paid as much and wants to work hard for his family.

Not long ago he`s dad won trainer of the year. That should have been relabled most fortune of the year award.

 

Not the best trainer but who else stood out In that year? He did have a good 2007 too with Rees pulling off the M'Baye win, Mac winning and Joe becoming undisputed.

Pryce maybe has more natural talent than Moore, but didn't Gazza have more natural talent than say, Bryan Robson?

No doubt in my mind who was the better player.
