    Flanagan is the biggest example!

Sjekloca hasn't fought at SM for 2 years, he has had 37 fights and Yarde is the only one to stop him. Yarde had little amateur experience and only 14 pro fights. I agree he needs guys that will give him rounds ,but lets not be too harsh on him,he's a novice.

I think only other guy he fought st LHW is another career SMW. I never said he never done good stuff in winning just state I noticed fundamental flaws that I think will cost him.

He stopped a cruiserweight prior to fighting Yarde, lost only 4 times, 3 to world champions and the other to the number one contender.Yarde didn't start fighting until he was 20 he makes mistakes and has defensive lapses, and needs to keep his left hand up but come on, he's had 14 fights the other guy had 37.

Agree other guy was a good fighter but it was clear he was well past his best his legs were very weak and he lacks any kind of power at LHW and if he did Yarde would have been knocked out. Yarde was blowing out his arse, his muscle will cost him over a long hard fight. Problem he is he's being marketed as a top 5-6 LHW when he's not even proved to be British class so he gets judged as such. If he fought Burton next i would fancy Burton hence resson his camp dodged it. Burton isn't a top 20 LHW.

The promoter should guide them, select the right fights for them at the right time for the most money possible but the boxer has to self promote themselves and get out and perform on the night. Unfortunately for Skeete and Flanagan they do not have knock-out power, aren't particularly entertaining to watch and have from the interviews iv seen don't have much of a personality.
Look at the likes of Bellew, Ohara, BJS. Turn heel, be a bit controversial, say a few daft things and drum up some public interest. Its not Rocket Science.

I know what you're saying ,his opposition has been underwhelming, but he doesn't have the amateur experience to call on.Yarde needs rounds and exposure to different styles ,trouble is he does hit hard so not many at his level can stay with him. He's a prospect at the mo, nothing more, time will tell.

Skeete should let Frankie snatch that IBO then demand a rematch
