Thats why I like this guy, Bradley is not looking to duck anyone, and unlike Alexander knows to become the real No.1 at 140 you have to also beat Khan.

    Respect to Bradley.

I was reading their press conference transcript and that came up. It was suprising that Bradley stated he would fight Amir Khan to prove who is the best at 140, and then to read that Devon Alexander doesn't feel he would need to fight Khan to prove he is the best. Take it as you will, but to me that doesn't sound right.

This is a guy who has no following and can't sell out his home town so of course he has no choice if he wins, but Devon does have a choice, and in order to get the best deat with Khan if he beats Bradley he must remind Khan that he has options. Devon can sell out his hometown so there's no problem with him fighting Marquez over Khan.

If another fighter is gonna "make noise" in your division, it's up to you to take em out. Or else it's not much of your division. Khan is making noise, Khan has a belt, the winner will eventually have to fight Khan.

It doesn't matter who Khan has or hasn't fought. The fact of the matter is Devon knows deep down Khan is far, far too quick for him. Bradley on the other hand is one tough cookie and would probably fight the pair of them in the same ring at the same time. Bradley-Khan would be a fantastic fight, I fully expect him to beat Devon convincingly as well.

You have a point, but if Khan is willing to face the winner why not fight him, its not like a Khan fight wont make good money, Khan vs Alexander/Bradley would be one of the big fights of 2011 which would create money and hype and would give us a real 140 King with the Ring title also in the mix.

Bradley would jump at a chance to unify the division against Khan, and would likely be willing to go to the UK if HBO picks up the fight, which it would. Bradley needs all the exposure he can get, and Khan would be even bigger than the Alexander fight.

I like Alexander, but reading that transcript he sounds like he's just trying to say the right things. Very conscious of being undefeated, whereas Bradley's take on the '0' is amazing. He just doesn't care.

I think if Alexander pulls it off that the Khan fight would still get made, but it'd go through a lot of negotiation trouble and probably not happen til 2012.

But Bradley's gonna handle Alexander, who will then give Kotelnik a rematch before rematching Bradley.

They all need each other equally, no way devon can bail out of that division without facing khan if he beats bradley and khan keeps winning, and bradley has the right attitude. On paper khans jab is a nightmare for alexander considering how the much slower kotelnik did with his jab against him. I think its between bradley and khan for top guy. Devons performance against kotelnik was very limited, either a very bad night or major problems in the future

Bradley has always spoken like this. He wants to fight the best.

I was surprised Devon changed his tune.
