WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley will defend against former unified lightweight champion Nate Campbell on August 1 at a site to be determined. The bout will be televised by SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING. The deal includes a rematch clause. The WBO has signed off on the bout, but WBO Paco Valcarcel said that the winner must face interim titlist Lamont Peterson.
Thats funny. I just asked in a previous thread what was goin on with this fight. Anyway, this should be a helluva fight! I pick Bradley by decision.
140 is becoming a good division again. You got some young, undefeated talented guys like Bradley, Ortiz, Alexander, and Peterson. Plus potentially Khan as well.
Yes, he is. And he's taking an awful amount of risk with these matches against fighters casual fans have barely even heard of. Young Bradley is a fighter.
If Bradley and Ortiz both keep winning, then that could become one of the best fights in boxing to be made in 2010.
bradley has a habit of taking on guys that are high risk, low reward. i think he'll win the fight about 8-4, but i'm really looking forward to it.
