**** sake, this is just as ****, and just as pointless as Khan V Peterson...theres still several better fights for both, at 140 (especially fighting each other!).

I hope Casamayor and Peterson somehow make it interesting...though, cant see it happening personally

No it isn't. Peterson is a top 10 fighter, Casamayor is a shot 40 year-old.

Casamayor might be a well over the hill, has been, but Peterson is a never will be, hes been beaten when hes come against anyone decent (I'd call his fight with Ortiz a loss not a draw).

Cassamayor although very old, shot to bits, beat Katsidis a few years ago...who has Peterson ever beat? :huh

Forget what Casamayor has done in the past, that's gone now, he's never coming back. At this moment in time, Peterson is a lot better fighter than Casamayor. That's the bottom line really. Peterson is nothing special, but he's decent enough, and he is Khan's mandatory.

The same as when Mayweather fought Hatton.

The WBO have to shoulder some blame for allowing this fight to be for his title.
I see their rankings are down just now. Wouldn't be surprised if Casa is somehow in the top 10 when they come back online.
