In the interview that took place on Tuesday’s edition of Fight-Fan-Nation-Radio, Camponovo said that Freddie Roach even thinks that a fight with Bradley is just too risky of proposition at this stage of his career and Camponovo stated, “I talked to Freddie Roach a while back ago about the possibility of doing Amir Khan and Timothy or Pacquiao and he told me literally, ‘What for? Your kid is too good, that’s a fight we can do down the line,’ so they know of him and I’m not going to say they are avoiding him, but it probably has to make a little more sense economically and there will be a time when we are going to see showdown between Timothy and one of those guys.”

I still think it would be the next best fight for Pacman if the Mayweather fight falls through once more..

I think Pac would demolish Bradley at 140 but id still love to see it, would make a change in styles matchup + Bradley has a belt. Pac technically hasnt picked up an official belt at 140 yet, despite it being his natural weight class.

Im not sure if any fight would be a good enough consolation prize though for not making Pac-fmj happen.

I think Roach was referring to Khan, not Pacquiao.

    Pacquiao would destroy Bradley

    I've always wanted Pac/Bradley, actually.

Pacs power catches up to bradley in the mid rounds. Bradley would surprise some people and fight even with pac thru the early to mid rounds but he dont have the power to get pacs respect and pacs power gets to him around the 8th.

I would pick Pacquiao to beat Bradley, but I doubt he would destroy him. Anyone who really thinks Pacquiao would destroy Bradley has to believe that it's pointless for him to fight at 140 lbs again.

Why would it be pointless to fight in a more natural weight class for him that is absolutely stacked with name talent just because you might think he'd dominate like that? :huh

No one is thinking here that Bradley can outbox Pac?

Because he can, and I think he has the calmness and poise to stick to his game plan against the speed and power of Pac.

I wouldn't say it's pointless to fight at 140 again. Instead I just think it's not required for him fight down there. There are bigger fish to fry at 147, mainly Mayweather or Mosley. If (and that's a big if) he manages to beat one of them, then there really would be nothing else left for him to achieve. Oh and by saying "beating one of them", I of course am hinting at Mayweather (no disrespect intended to the brilliant Mosley).

But back to Bradley, yes I too wouldn't mind seeing Pac take him on. He would be an excellent addition to his already phenomenal resume, and he'll certainly enhance his legacy by beating him too. The 140 division may well be steep in competition and talent, but in all honesty, Pac would beat them all in one night. He's leagues above the likes of Bradley and the other 140 pounders

same, sounds as if he meant Khan, Pac fears noone and at this point you can never pick anyone (cept for MW) to even come close to beating him, he'd ko bradley

I think Bradley is a good fighter but his best wins are against fighters past there peak ( Witter , Holt and Campbell) He has to earn a shot at the elite and he hasnt yet.
In my opinion Bradley is not in the class of Pac - in fact I would not even put him in same class as LW Cotto or peak Hatton . I pick Khan and Alexander especially over Bradley if any of those fights are made
