Bradley is the most avoided fighter at 140, seems like he'll fight anyone and would be favourite against them all at that weight. He says he could go up to 147 and would even be more comfortable up there and he'd at least be a solid challenger for anyone at welterweight. Williams is one of the most avoided fighters in all weight classes at the moment. He couldn't get a top name to fight at welterweight, but he says he'd be willing to move down to 147 again now for one. He also has a history of fighting people who people don't want to fight like Margarito, Wright and Martinez. Who'd win at 147? Williams is the obvious choice, but weight drain could be a factor for him and Bradley is arguably a more solid and technically proficient boxer then Quintana, although he's also smaller.
He trains so hard and is in such great condition, I don't think he'd disgrace himself even if he did lose. He's got movement, a good inside fighter and keeps active with the jab. I think it probably wouldn't happen, but its interesting to think of two top fighters willing to fight anyone in the same division.
im not completeyly sold on either of them at the moment to be honest. i agree on williams being very weight drained if he can still make the weight
is Bradley the most avoided fighter and would be favourite against any of them? strongly doubt it, is bradley really that solid of a fighter? who really has given a true test to bradley? answer those questions
Would Bradley not be favourite against Khan, Alexander or Urango? Yes, he is the most avoided at 140. You didn't read my post properly as I said he would be favourite against anyone at 140. From what I've seen of him he seems more solid then most. Good movement, good inside fighting, good workrate/jab and excellent conditioning. He hasn't been tested enough to be at the level of a Williams or a Cotto obviously, but he's been incrementally stepped up in terms of tests nicely - Witter in UK, Holt for WBC/WBO unification, looking very good against former 3-belt lightweight Campbell and beating a hungry 27-0 Peterson. I think he's on the right track.
I see people making threads about fighters who would never and will never fight in the same weight class in ridiculous mismatches. Bradley was a WBC/WBO champ at light welterweight, I think he's the Ring no1 at 140 and he'd be the favourite against the other 140lb belt holders. Eventually I see him moving up and he has said that he'd be willing and possibly more comfortable at the weight above. Williams was a WBO champ at welterweight but has moved up. Both fighters find it hard to find fights. Williams says he'd come back down. I said I don't see it happening, but theoretically it could happen and I haven't seen anyone else mention it - show some originality dumbass.
Silly thread. Williams is twice the size of Bradley. As skilled as Bradley is how on earth would he be able to counter Williams' far longer reach?
Size aint **** man its over rated it all comes down ro how you usesize... If bradely fights on the inside what good is williams size? Look at pac he is kicking ass and he is half williams size. I honestly think tecnically williams is **** he is too open however bradely lacks the power to make him pay but he has a ok chance. But williams is seriously over ratted he beat am that ws a good win he beat a shot inactive winky and got schooled by martinez and quintana
I guy who dosent belong at 147 fighting a guy who dosent belong at 147.... Whats the point of this fight?
I stopped taking you seriously after that. Whilst Pac is smaller than Cotto, he has the same reach as him and he had a reach advantage against Hatton. Paul Williams has a 13 ****ing inch advantage over Bradley.atsch Do you think Bradley can just walk through Williams punches to get on the inside. I can't believe I am even entertaining this nonsense. If you think Bradley has any chance against Williams you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
