Funny these nobodies, think they can argue over purse splits.

Yeah great future boxing is looking at. "Potential" talents who haven't proven **** (looking awfully average in some of their fights) ruining a fight to prove who the best is because of money split. This is what I call the Floyd effect. :-(

IMO Devon doesnt deserve a 50/50 split, especially considering his recent shameful performance. Bradley snatched that title from Witter how long ago? successfully defended it against durable competition, coming out strongly. Devon, on the other hand... lost his last fight.

Too many fighters want all of the reward without taking the necessary risks to get it. They've been talking about this fight for long enough that if it were a purse issue, it should already be worked out.

Then again, this is boxing in 2010. The fight makes so much sense, it's bound not to happen.

sad really how so many fights hasn't happen just cuz of these negotiations. Sometimes i wish boxing were more like the ufc. They don't have much problems making fights happen. The best thing about it is the winner get more money than the loser.

If boxing was more like that then you'll see more boxers try to win instead of collecting paycheck aka clottey.

I just read in boxing - scene website that Cunningham wants is 50/50 split and to fight to place in st louis or anywhere else but not in cali in which Bradley only sells around 1,000 seats in which is not good. It shows also that Cunningham never demand 60 percent. Now Shaw said he got no problem with 50/50 split but yet he said if he has to choose when venue, it be in cali in which basically like a ballroom? lol. Please. But the way these 2 are talking, this fight will happen. Only the venue is messing up cause Shaw wants the fight in Bradley's home town in the ballroom while Cunningham wants is in st louis that could sell 10,000 or more. But again both said that Bradley vs Alexander can fight anywhere else. Imo if this fight don't happen it be cause of Bradley cause he'll feel he's a bigger star in which he'll ask for 60 percent.

Bradley beat Witter by decision when Witter was 34. Devon became the first fighter to tko Witter when he was 35. <<<<Not far in ages huh? But yet when Devon fought Witter, witter was like way past his prime right? Excuses, excuses, excuses.

On the b-scene website, Cunningham wants a 50/50 split and is willing to fight anywhere else if it's not in st louis but won't let Devon fight Bradley in a freaking ballroom in which is where Bradley fights at in cali.

Hang on, which are you claiming is more impressive here?

    1. To beat a fully fit fighter on points over 12 rounds.
    2. To beat the same fighter by 'tko' when they injure their hand in the 4th round and pull out a few rounds later.
