Bradley has a pretty impressive resume compared to the other welterweights in his division and only lost to Pacquiao in his career so far. His resume definitely trumps Brook's resume and for quite a while, Bradley was the no.1 welterweight and now, Brook is the no.1 welterweight, so how come these 2 don't fight each other? I'd like to see who's really no.1 in welterweight How is Brook no.1 in welterweight when he only fight 1 live dog (Porter) in his career and somehow he's no.1 in welterweight and yet you have a warrior like Bradley who fought several tough opponents and for a while was considered no.3 p4p behind Pacman and Mayweather. Bradley fought way more live dogs than Brook did. Is it boxing politics and the usual high-risk, low reward factor the reason this fight not made? bottom line is, I'm a Bradley fan, I want to see Bradley take another war in a Bradley/Brook fight and then the winner fights One Time Thurman. The welterweight division needs to be cleared out! Brook/Bradley would be huge in the UK, imo. at the 02 arena. America vs UK! Plus I wanna hear Teddy Atlas's usual "we are firemen" rants at Bradley between rounds lmao. so lolzy Bradley would outrun and outbox Brook, imo. Bradley has way more boxing skills than Brook does. Plus he's more ring durable.

Vargas is cheaper than bradley...brooks fights will be ppv from now on....but his numbers are average on ppv in the uk.....that fight would only happen in the states...and brook.aint travelling unless its a 5m+ payday
I thought they already tried to make this fight in the past but basically couldn't afford Bradley. Bradley had better options like Pacquiao and Rio s. It's obvious why Brook is targeting Vargas now. Having another belt helps his claim to be the #1 in his division , gives him leverage in negotiations and helps force the other top WW's to fight him. Some people (particularly fans of Khan or U.S WW's) like to make out that Brook is afraid to fight good opposition and is ducking guys but those guys are ducking him as much as he is ducking them. They want big money and or home advantage to fight him and as champ he doesn't want to get screwed money wise and concede home advantage. People just talk all this ducking b.s because they know Brook is a threat and they wanna talk him down and justify their guys not fighting him.
Eddie hearn already approached Bradley's team after the pac fight. Bradley response was he is taking a rest. Fighting kell in August or September just not possible
What you should be asking is how Brook is rated #1 at WW when his resume consists of just Porter while Thurman beat Porter more impressively as well as Chavez, Guerrero, and Collazo.
I agree. It's a rare situation. I think Thurman won, but it was closer than the Brook fight. However Thurman did it more impressively. By that I mean he didn't rely on the clinch to neutralize Porters offense but rather movement and accurate punching. Thurman also managed to stun Porter a couple times.
