Looks like Witter quit out of a stroppy irritation of being threatened with losing a point.

Might he roll out the old "Wouldn't let me fight my fight" thing?

 

No doubt they will say they couldnt fight on with the ref

But it looks to me like he just knew he would lose so figured he would make an excuse

 

..and confirmed by that corner conversation. I think I nailed that one.

Watching the last half of that round, when Witter was actively trying not to hold after the warning (he let go a lot quicker) he was getting tagged and walked down, he had no chance without the holding.

 

Maybe he stub his toe......:huh

 

Just don't...trying to make sense of it will just lead to migraines.

 

I hope he's injured, because it would be pathetic for him to just quit the way he did. It's like taking the money and running. What a *****.

as disgraceful an end to a fight I have ever seen. Anyone ever seen anything like that? Duran was getting embarassed, nothing like this. Witter embarassed and shamed himself completely.
