I mean, Gamboa is a physical beast n all, but that's at featherweight... He's the kind of guy that's gonna be soft at 135, n after his last fight, though it was after a long layoff, I can't imagine him carrying his power that much... Not to mention his short stubby arms...

I mean, Bradley's a little guy too... 5'6" with a 69" reach; Average speed, no power, wide slappy punches... Gamboa is 5'5" with a 65" reach; Super speed (though not proven at 140+), lots of power (though not proven at 140+), short stubby arms...

I think this match-up is not as bad as it looks like. Basing on their body frames, their height and reach they're not far apart except that Bradley's more accustomed at higher weight classes. It's very similar to Hatton and Cotto who fought most of their time in the welters/jr welters compared to Pacquiao who was accustomed to fighting at feathers.

Gamboa's got skills, he's agile and he's a little bit tricky too. This can turn out to be an interesting match-up imo. :good

 

Yes, he could be a heavy favorite but I don't think it's not as one-sided as many guys seems to see. That's a nice info you got in there. It only shows that even if Bradley belongs in bigger weight class it doesn't hide the fact that their size is not that far apart, :good

Apparently, Bradley wouldn't come down to a catch-weight near 140lbs. Given that he's not long been a Welterweight, I don't really understand why. His career has stalled terribly since the Pacquiao fight.
