Judah's certainly a bigger name then Bradley .. but fighting Zab wouldn't do much to boost Guzman's career, IMO .. as Zab is pretty much a gatekeeper at this point.

as for Bradley dropping to 135, already covered on this board, but no .. T-Brad holds the WBO belt at 140.

intriguing fight, with Guzman going up to 140 and I don't think too highly of Bradley either .. so that puts my fight prediction at a stand still for the moment.

No sure that Witter would be willing to fight Alexander, wouldnt be much of a paycheck and Alexander isnt worth fighting for little money. He is too good for that. Plus I thought that Witter moved to 147.

Plus Judah could take Guzman out with one shot, not much of a chance that Bradley will do that.

"According to FightNews.com, the Jose Sulaiman-led organisation stripped Bradley because he has reneged on his previous agreement to fight WBC number-one 140-pound contender Devon Alexander in his next fight after facing Holt. Now, former champ Junior Witter, the man Bradley has already beaten, will box Alexander to decide the vacant strap. Bradley and his team said Showtime expressed no interest in buying a fight between he and Alexander, and that that has made the mandatory fight a hard one to make."

Yeah I just checked his last fight was at welterweight. I read somewere right after the fight with Bradley that he said he would move up.

Oh I didnt know that.....It maybe a bad move on Witters part...Alexander is good. I think that Witter will win but I think its a 52-48 type of fight.

The news is from when Bradley originally decided to vacate the strap due to the bogus mandatory deal. It could be completely different at this point.

it's been apparent for awhile that Team Guzman was hunting for a big fight. Yet, Shaw apparently was the one to come to them, not the other way around.

I love this fight. I won't get my hopes up too high until we hear an official announcement but on paper this is a very intriguing matchup. I would expect Guzman to start fast and really bother Bradley with his speed early. I think Joan's stamina will be the key to this fight. No doubt that Bradley will win some rounds on workrate alone.

    onepunch.net is somewhere weeping softly.

i think bradleys boys think they have made the right choice by getting guzman, in his last fight against holt he couldn't handle the power. guzman was a knockout artist when he was at bantamweight, he no longer has the power to KO anyone. its going to be a good boxing match, but guzmans combos will catch the eye and his experience will get him an easy victory.

Joan Guzman is an incredible waste of talent

    2002-2005: SBW champ
2006: supposed to fight FW champ Scott Harrison, about 70% he would've won
    2006-2007: SFW champ
2008: supposed to face Nate Campbell for 3 LW belts, came in overweight, called fight off, had about 60% chance of winning on paper
2009: facing Tim Bradley for the LWW championship

He could be a FIVE F*CKING DIVISION CHAMPION by the end of the summer, but due to his (lack of) pro attitude (and having the misfortune to challenge the very troubled Scott Harrison), he's just an unknown guy.

    5-time, 5 division champion!

    What an idiot.

That's not counting Alex Arthur and Michael Katsidis either.
