While Juan Manuel Marquez thinks seriously about his next career move follow his latest loss, his promoter Fernando Beltran believes a rematch with Timothy Bradley would be ideal for a Mexican return in 2014 and even said it would be much better in Mexico City Arena. After the split decision defeat to Bradley, Marquez and Beltran are proud proud of the performance and said that 'Dinamita' was fully competative and ready to continue in professional boxing. "I would love to rematch Marquez with Bradley in the Arena Mexico as I saw Marquez win narrowly. He was the one who pressed the fight, who landed the best shots and ended with a controversial result that left us unhappy," stated the President of Zanfer Promotions. "I think Juan Manuel is still a master and gave a good fight to Bradley. We are not sure if we can put them together again but we'll talk about the possibility. Hopefully we'll talk with Bradley. According to Beltran, there would be no problem whatsoever to return to the Arena of Mexico City where Marquez won the light-welterweight title of the World Boxing Organization in April 2012 against Serhiy Fedchenko, although there will be other options for Bradley as he had not signed a rematch clause. "The decision is of Juan Manuel is that he is still a star in the sport. I understand that he must have a talk with his family, but we saw him compete in boxing against a good fighter once again and had the speed, power and wanted to trade punches, but the judges saw something very different from what we saw. We will leave it to Juan to decide what he wants for his career because there are many top level fighters who could face Bradley," finished the Mexican promoter.
They will have to come out the pockets "Bigtime" to try & get Timbo to fight in Mexico. Don't see his going down at all, Bradley deserves to call the shots here since he got the decision. It's Timmy's call tho... At least it should be. (What does the Bobfather want?)
bob father said if rios win a match between rios and bradley...but no talks of rematch with jmm or pac yet.
