Bradley Vs Mathysse ?

    Mathysse was shamefully robbed twice in the US but i believe this is the fight that poses most threat towards Bradley in the welter weight division

    Mathysse most likely gets robbed again :-( but who wins in the fans eyes?

    Bradley is too much for Matthysse. Will frustrate him after a good effort for the first part of the fight. UD Bradley or very late stoppage.

    This is actually a real good fight. I see Bradley taking a 7-5 or 8-4 type decision with some hard-fought rounds in there, though a Matthysse win wouldn't be the biggest upset we've seen, he's a live underdog.

    More action at 140 needs to be circulating.

    Matthysse close UD? Are you kidding?

    Matthysse couldn't win rounds versus Judah and he's expected to win a UD on Bradley?

    Matthysse has good physical strength and power, and that's it. Let's not get it twisted, whether the decisions were right or wrong, the fights with Judah and Alexander were close.

    Bradley beats him like he beat Abregu.

    He beat Alexander a lot more comprehensively than Bradley did and got robbed by the judges, Bradley needed to headbutt his way to a TD.

    the Alexander fight was a 116-112 decision and thats being kind, with 2 10-8 rounds ( 1 knockdown and 1 round where Mathysse completly dominated )

    Mathysse has a decent punch at 140 and its not impossible to put Bradley down, Dont forget that this is boxing. rewind a year ago and Morales had no business being in the ring with Maidana, Saldio was just a stepladder for Lopez and Helenius was supposed to tear through Chisora with ease

    Mathysse is a live under dog and a very under rated fighter

    Matthysse is so overrated it's hilarious

    The guy was outboxed by Zab Judah, who Khan tore through with ease

    I don't like Bradley much at all (also ridiculously overrated), but it's hard to deny he's a more well rounded and solid fighter than Lucas, Bradley wins this pretty wide

    I agree on your points there about the fights with Alexander. Laz I think you're off by saying he only has strength and power. He has good form throwing straight punches, an effective guard, good timing, and efficient footwork. He's rough around the edges and defense isn't his priority but fans need to stop polarizing fighters into a spectrum of flawless VS skill-less. Also, Judah has much more of a defensive style and mobile than Bradley, and there's a case that can be made for Matthyse winning that fight as well. I'm not saying I favor Matthysse, but ruling him out would be stupid, as FAR stranger things have happened in the sport.

    This would be a good comeback fight for Khan if Peterson isn't available

    Khan makes Matthysse look like he's going in slow motion imo

    You're oversimplifying man. It's about styles between A and B, not what happened between either and C or D.

    Exactly, Mathysse seems to push off on the gas at times but to say he didnt win the Judah and Alexander fights clearly is just blind patriotism.

    I had Lucas winning both fights and he would be the WBC champion right now had he not been injured. I still say Morales should give him a shot, hes earned it far more than Garcia

    Yeah, I guess, Matthysse is just overrated and annoys me for some reason :twisted:

    He was blatantly robbed against Alexander though, another **** boxer

    Look at the poll, does it look like hes over rated? and how is Alexander a **** boxer? quite frankly if you can get to world level or hell even regional level your a decent enough boxer.

    Mathysse is class and has a style i enjoy watching as a BOXING fan

    Sadly there are few actual boxing fans nowadays, its mostly filled up with Fanboys such as your self
