It's going to be tough for Tim to maintain the smart gameplan for a full 12. While he can box, he's got too much dog in him to resist getting pulled into a fight with Ruslan at some point. It doesn't help that Provodnikov's specialty is drawing boxers into a streetfight.

I think Tim can come in with the best of intentions to box conservatively and take a points win, but it'd only be a matter of time before that gameplan gives way to WAR.

 

I'm sorry, but I will never respect Bradley as a champion until he rematches Pac and beats him fair and square.

That is the fight people want to see for the casual boxing fan.

It doesn't matter if Prov was a war or not, until he fights Pac again, he is just ducking.

 

Bradley would take him in a rematch. Too much speed. If he rematches Manny, he most likely will get beat again, though.

I don't buy this Tim Bradley "i fought the wrong fight" retroactive narrative. Don't get me wrong Tim can move and box, proabably better than he did in that fight too, but people should be able to see how good Provodnikov is at cutting off the ring and that his ability to get punches off isn't negated by movement like some flatfooted punchers (Rios, Cloud). Tim can box as good as he wants Ruslan is still going to find him and put him through hell plus if he actually uses his defense, head movement and doesn't gas or take rounds off like the first fight it will be even more difficult for Tim. Bradley can do better than the first fight but so can Ruslan.

 

I'd prefer to see Pacquiao v Bradley 2.

Provodnikov beat the crap out of Bradley and left him on the canvas. He beat Bradley and Bradley knows it......................Bradley will get brain damage for sure...........
