only fight that makes sense, Bradley beat Pac, Pac wont fight a rematch or Floyd, so Floyd might as well fight Bradley Bradley is a determined young hardworking guy and a danger to anybody
Timmy is the same size as Cotto with a longer reach, better boxing ability, better adaptability, a great chin (not that he will be relying on it), and enough pop to get any fighters respect. Floyd won't walk through Bradley and he certainly will not man handle him. If Floyd tries to walk him down I can see Bradley countering when Floyd opens up. If Floyd wants to sit back and counter and I see Tim going in and flurrying and pulling out cleanly before Floyd and get his shot off. Tim would be a live dog in this fight. 45 - 55 in Floyds favor.
bradley isn't world class, therefore he shouldn't challenge world class. he can fight berto, jessie vargas or the best, since he is no welterweight, would be to go down and see if he can do good vs garcia, lucas or juan manuel.
You funny sweet....Tim should be fighting guys on his level... PAC and Floyd are above him. He's a good, solid fighter...he needs to be in with guys like Devon, Khan, Zab....you know...opposition that won't outclass him. It's hard to sell a mismatch.
How is Manny above him when he beat Manny, while outclassing him boxing wise with two broken feet. Bradley schooled Manny hard. Bradley cleaned out his division as well and I believe is still the lineal champ of the division after establishing the new lineal string with his beating of Devon. He would also be the #1 contender at 147 after beating Manny for a shot at the lineal title against Floyd at 147. So the class issue carries no water objectively. If Floyd can fight Cotto and Ortiz, he should be more than happy to fight Bradley at 147.
why because he entered the big league against somebody who is world class and did nothing but air punches and lost like every round on my scorecards, dan rafaels and most of ringside oberveres? he good, maybe even very good. but world class, there are like 4-5 boxers right now in that categorie: ward, floyd, pacquiao, marquez, donaire, talentwise gamboa, broner and rigondeaux. talent and skillwise he isn't on the same level as any of these dudes. that light punching moth%$&/er
Your definition of world class is wrong. You're talking about 'elite' boxers. Bradley is quite clearly world class. Unified 140lb twice with an already very good resume. In a competitive bout with Pacquiao. Clearly world class.
Nah...clean, effective punches win the bout. Pacquiao produced them. The bout was competitive and closer than it should have been because Pacquiao took his foot off the gas, more so than Bradley changing things up and pressing in the latter rounds. Still a win for Pacquiao. Far from 'Bradley schooled Pacquiao'.
Nope Manny didn't win with clean effective punching, because Bradley landing more of those for more rounds. LOL. Bradley also showed superior ring generalship, effective aggression, and defense in the majority of rounds as well. It was slightly competitive, I mean Manny didn't quit. But Bradley put a boxing clinic on his ass and practically shut him out.
Pacquiao landed the cleaner, more hurtful shots (effective) to win 7 rounds (I believe that's how many I had him winning). His left hand landing at will for a sustained period of time.
you knew exactly what I meant by saying world class, you know I will put floyd in the highest category possible and that world class means elite. my definition is average, good, very good and world class. timmy tried wc and failed miserly and he should stick to good-very good fighters. end
No Manny didn't land the cleaner more hurtful shots. Bradley landed more of those. Hell Manny never hurt Bradley. Manny's left wasn't landing at will either. Sounds like you were drinking the Lampley kool-aid. LOL. Bradley dominated the distance and pace of action. He was catching Manny repeatedly with his lead right and and left hook with Manny tried to come in. He really dominated Manny completely with his boxing technique on two broken feet.
