A Peterson is an overrated hype job.

Its been almost a year since he last fought and no promoter/network cares about him cause they know he ducked Humberto Soto for a June 2010 showdown at YAnkee Stadium.

Anthony lost credentials after he blatantly ducked Humberto Soto.

Its been almost a year since Anthony last fought and no promoter/network gives a damm about him, cause they know he ducked Soto many times.

Anthony Peterson is and always was scared to fight Humberto Soto.

Its been almost a year, and Peterson has not fought and is too scared to mention the name Humberto Soto.

Just cause peterson said on a YouTube vid that Soto wont fight him, all you idiots beleived Peterson's lies:lol:.

Rios is exciting, first and foremost; thus, it's only natural that people will get excited about him. He does however have glaring weaknesses that will, in all likeliness, get exposed at the higher weight classes. At 135 though, imo, he can reign as the number guy for the foreseeable future.

Then why is Rios ducking: Mercito Gersa, Miguel Vazuez, Jorge Linares, Kevin Mitchell, John Murray at 135lbs ??

Those fights don't do much for his pockets, obviously. Arum will look to maximize Rios' momentum by putting him in with the likes of MAB or, to a lesser extent, Katsidis who can create more attention for Bam Bam. Again, this should be obvious.

... why do named fighters fight un-named fighters? they don't. Rios has a great opportunity to make a career high payday and history against JMM. Why would he waste his time for at best 35k against one of the fighters you mentioned?

Acosta and Antiilon both hurt Rios momentarily, then imagine what a sharp-shooting power-punching Soto would do.

Soto is all-around better fighter than Acosta and Antillon combined.

Rios is just not that good.
He just young, fresh, and not tested yet.

he could get ko'd by many at 135lbs too, which is why he's been ducking some 135lbers lately.

But atleast, Paul fought top notch fighters.
Rios is handpicking easy "shot" has-beens and ducks many challenges.

Rios is over-hyped for sure (better than a prime Duran? LOL) Golden Boy needed a new chico to fill the Staples Center. He can reign at 135 for as long as he wants, but all the big paydays mean moving up in weight where I think he gets exposed against a real boxer. I expect GB will continue to match him up with other brawlers as long as they are making money. He does have a certain level of skills besides the obvious power, but theres a lot of room for improvement. He has youth on his side but from what you hear is a real dick irl. Just as much chance he gets derailed by his shitty attitude than anything else.
