Is he considered as a stand-in? You'd say that would be way too early for my countryman, even with his long and succesful kickboxing career in mind.
Yeah one of the tweets on the first page mentions him as a possible semifinal replacement opponent for Smith. I mean at least he's a few years younger than Brähmer... And he's more likely to be able to test Smith's chin, I guess. But yeah, big leap up. He might be better off keeping the Chudinov date and continue just quietly building up his record against faded but respectable names to put some value behind his zero and waiting for a bigger cash out than this.
I think I got a solution : delay the fight and let Braehmer recover from his cold meanwhile Groves will have more time to recover too?
@IntentionalButt A body shot did it, and damn, how depressing, I think this was in an actual High School gym. This content is protected
Do we know if Braehmer is legitimately sick/injured? He has a history of pulling out of fights for no apparent reason.
According to german news Brähmer is sick with a viral infect and lay in bed for a couple of days now, no chance to recover within 3-4 days so he had to pull out.
that sucks carrots. By the way, I think you should change your O'Sullivan avi to greyscale. Goes perfectly with the theme he set up.
This is the problem with these tournaments. It is too difficult to make them run as smoothly as they are supposed to. The 1st smw tournament was hacked to pieces with guys pulling out although at least the best guy won.
