I got Kovalev by stoppage anything besides a dominate win and Sergy should be a bit embarrassed. No disrespect to Hopkins but he's an old ass man, Kovalev needs to dominate unify titles and keep it moving.

 

Hopkins by wide UD, just like he did to Tarver.

 

Kovalev takes it, I think Hopkins will be looking for a way out if this fight once he taste kovalev's power. I want to root for Hopkins but I believe the old man has had his run. Hopkins can still beat these b-level and lower fighters but I believe Kovalev is a A-level fighter waiting to get his shot to shine.

 

Fact is, Kovalev has never been in the ring against a guy like Hopkins. How he will react, no one knows. But every time I play it in my head, I see Hopkins doing his usual stuff. I see Kovalev giving too much respect to Hopkins and over thinking.

So I go with Hopkins on a close decision.

 

I think Kovalev is the real deal. He has been boxing since he was a boy and had an excellent amateur career. He "should" win but I learned long ago that Hopkins is the one fighter capable of making a fool of anyone who bets against him.
