who has haye fought? Well, lets take a look: (Hastings Rasani, one of Haye's wins for example sports a 15.79% ko percentage with over 90 fights and 68 losses! Then there are: Lolenga Mock 31 wins, 13 losses & 26.67 ko% (lower than Cunningham) who dropped haye - Tony Dowling 11 wins, 7 losses & 22.22 ko% - Valeri Semiskur 18 wins, 28 losses & 21.28 ko% - Gary Delaney 31 wins, 13 losses & 37.78 ko% - Tony Booth 52 wins, 105 losses & 7.23 ko% - Saber Zairi 7 wins, 5 losses & 25 ko% - Roger Bowden 4 wins, 16 losses & 9.52 ko% - Phil Day 8 wins, 9 losses & 15.79 ko% - Vance Winn 6 wins, 22 losses & 9.68 ko% - Greg Scott Briggs 15 wins, 32 losses & 14.58 ko% etc. etc...no wonder haye was able to beef up his KO% early on. lol Then there is Haye's skimpy yet drawn out heavyweight career: This consists of 6 fights: 1.(Monte Barrett) Who was 40 years old and out of shape with 6 losses and a ko% equal to the "light hitting" Steve Cunningham. 2. (Nikolai Valuev) A controversial decision against a lumbering, slow moving fighter who was suffering from a degenerative bone and joint condition of which two surgeries were scheduled for after the Haye bout; which was his "unofficial" retirement fight. haye threw a sorry total of 158 punches over 12 rounds in that one 3.(John Ruiz) The VERY out of shape 38 year old Ruiz had his moments in this sloppy fight but Haye was throwing so many rabbit punches he should have been disqualified (Ruiz was on his feet and not in visible trouble when his corner threw in the towel btw). 4.(Audley Harrison) This 39 year old notoriously chinny fighter held on while taking so many clean open shots it was pathetic...although what is interesting is that Harrison was on his feet when the fight was stopped -no KO for haye. 5. (Wladimir Klitschko) Haye's best opponent. Haye threw a pathetic 290 punches over 12 rounds, ran all night and was defeated in an embarrassingly lopsided decision. 6. (Derek Chisora) An unsanctioned bout and Hayes most impressive heavyweight TKO. While the lackluster, sloppy Chisora was down, it must be pointed out that in terms of haye's "power" Chisora was not out and in fact was waved of while the exhausted Chisora was on his feet (less about Hayes power and more about Chisora's conditioning). It must also be pointed out that Haye was winded early in this fight (this might be why haye's team insisted on a 10 round bout) Also, Chisora did have him in trouble in a few instances early on...this was the worst we had seen Chisora in his young career.
Funny that when people talk about David Haye, it's always...."he would have", "he could have", "he should have".....never about anything he actually does, always an excuse.
Haye won the 12th against wlad. Had he fought like that for 11 other rounds he would have won. the kilts are done. Vitali is ducking everyone and wlad is about to get screwed in russia
Who? Probably peoples that are b*tthurt about the champion, but describes the shameful fighting style of Void mayweather as "exciting", just to show their coherence. :deal
I just want to see Haye fight Wlad again but not be stupidly cautious, his movement was great but he didn't throw like he normally does. I don't see Fury giving Wlad much trouble, he is too slow and will get jabbed in to oblivion. Better for the division is Haye gets another shot. Looking forward to this fight though, big British fights always deliver excitement.
