Fig has to careful early. Magsayo has power and he can catch Fig with something unexpected.

 

Figueroa has got such a great chin for a pretty boy.

1-1. Fig decided to box at range again and Magsayo picked him apart with countershots and hooks that even hurt Fig. At the end Fungeroa came out to play and had success but too little too late.

Watching on delay, but I gave the first to Fig and the second to Magsayo. 19-19.

 

This is a great matchup, two hard hitting offense minded fighters with good workrates.
I think Figueroa will outlast him ultimately but Magsayo looks sharp so far with his counters

 

Whoever's gonna go to the body is gonna win this dogfight.

Indeed. Quite liked the choice of avatar I provided.

Kinda had a bad feeling about this matchup. Hurd had been out for a long time, and his approach doesn't always allow for a long shelf life. Oh well, at least I can still go back and watch that run from Harrison to Lara when I want to get my fix of Hurd at his best.
