    Figueroa is pressuring but Magsayo still getting off flashy combinations. Both are tired and pushing their shoulders together, stalling, although Figueroa is quicker to make the most of these moments of inertia with body punches. Magsayo throwing big hooks upon separation and strapping the jawline of Figueroa. Heavy body shots from both men. Figueroa with a chopping right hook on the side of the head.

    7*-3 Fig. Magsayo FINALLY throws enough punches that his higher-quality landed shots carry the round. If he keeps this up, then with his power he may have enough time to pull through, even with the point deduction.

    Figueroa is getting the back of his skull dusted as he slouches forward and works the body, not giving Magsayo any space to breathe. HUGE shots being landed both ways, body and head. They're just leaving themselves open wide and slugging. Magsayo begins to be worn down, and goes to a knee, perhaps from exhaustion but Figueroa was landing punches, could have been ruled a knockdown very reasonably. Magsayo lucky there. Crowd getting antsy for something dramatic to happen. Magsayo holding but pushing free under the ref's watchful eye and shoeshining the body. Magsayo goes to a knee, but another no-call. Magsayo's legs gone.
