Funny, the cards here were close to the actual cards whereas social media had Magsayo winning early and ultimately a close fight. Looking forward to a lot of whining about a robbery or bad cards from social media hacks.

I think the rounds were very close. Just seemed like a slim advantage for Figueroa in most of them.

Magsayo showing once again how limited and one dimensional of a fighter he is. Congrats to Figueroa on the win, just a relentless fighter.

Not really. Magsayo is both a hard and accurate puncher. Whenever he bothered to throw, he landed, and viciously. The problem is the 'bothered to throw' part.

The "u" stands for unanimous, so it requires there being more than one person's scorecard. If you have somebody winning on your card, say that (and maybe give your score) but saying you "have it by UD" makes no sense .

UD means all 3 judges had Figueroa as the winner. You are a singular individual, thus you can´t score it like that. Not UD, SD, MD or NC. You can just give us your card.
Either you had Figueroa winning or you predicted that the judges were going to give him the UD.

My rooting interest was fully disclosed as Magsayo beforehand, and not only did he not have any path to victory when factoring in the point deductions, he spent far more time getting beaten up and out ring-generaled than Figueroa did.

He lost, any way you slice it.

Now, in the first half, you could make a case for any number of different scorecards. From the seventh on, though, aside from a rally in round 8 (which he at most could have salvaged a 9-9 from anyway) he was clobbered.

I don´t think anyone here thought Figueroa dominated the fight.

It was a good, albeit a sloppy fight overall. Magsayo really made the fight ugly with his constant holding. He continues to show what a frustrating fighter he is. His stamina is complete sh()t.

The scorecards may have been a bit too wide but Magsayo didn’t deserve to win with all that holding.

Just me or is Showtime grossly overestimating how much people care about Benavídez vs. Plant? It seems like they're positioning that as THE major boxing event of the year for their network.
