It happened live on HBO in crystal clear HD. His Chin was obliterated.

Dinamita bounced some bombs off Pacquiaos chin in their third encounter, bombs which Pacquiao just walked straight through without blinking.

Yes that knockout may have ended him, but who knows for sure? I doubt Manny would pursue this fight if his punch resistence was completely gone (I'm assuming his sparring has started, that would give a good indication of whether or not he can take a punch).
