You have no idea how hard Brandon trains. I have never seen anyone who trains as hard as he does. He has come back home to train several times. He is a beast in his training just as he is a beast in the ring. No one has to push Brandon he pushes himself.

    :-(

The ****ed up bit to me is acting "surprised" at the initial failure to make weight...and then wasting everyone's time by taking the additional hour to make further "attempts"..only to come back heavier.

Well, for hating being embarrassed he hasn't done $h1t about it, and not even trying the second time around, common the guy has no principle at all and he didn't loss 75% of his purse, he paid $45000 penalty and I don't think he pay Abril more than that, out of $450 000 I don't c 75%, you guys has to listen to yourselves when trying to justified Rios behavior and loss, he got owned by Abril and the Cuban was right when stating that Rios will know who he was after the fight, it was bound to happen because he is a slow face first kind of fighter, and he was lucky that wasn't Gamboa in front of him that night because YG hit hardest, is faster and have a better boxing than Abril, just take the "win" and shut your mouth and let it be...

he seems unprofessional in that sense. he struggled to make weight for murray. why go back to that weight class? no respect whatsoever. ah well I hope he finally mans up and moves up.

Where did you get $450K? His purse was only $100K. Also I am not justifying anything. I am trying to have a adult, reasonable discussion but you keep posting and screwing that up. I know things for Cuban fighters has been slow but you are looking like a fool trying to make Abril something he is not. He is not skilled (except for holding and throwing elbows and playing it safe) , he is not exciting and he is not going to go anywhere in boxing. Rios stops him early at 140. :deal

Rios already fought him at 140 tho :huh

Without the weight disadvantage Abril would have probably stopped bum bum around the 10th :deal

No his purse was $450000 and Abril $100000, it was supposed to be $750000 against Gamboa + $100000 bonus for the winner instead of $50000 for this fight, and he can sign for a 140 fight, Abril told him that he will fight at 160 if he wants it, Abril will take him to school again he is just not that good...

WHo can this guy beat at 140, even judah, prescott and kotelnik would kick his ass let alone the top guys. A fight with Peterson would be interesting since he beat his brother.
