In numerous interviews and on internet sights he and his team have hinted that they are a little concerned and taking this fight very seriously. Forever wanting a challenge and having the need to forever test himself. Brandon opted to take the one person whom he fills will challenge him the most. Brandon wants to test his chin and his will. He also has an almost morbid curiosity and is such a fan of
of KOs and hard hitting, gutsy fighters. That he wants to fight the one fighter who best describes himself. Urbano Antillon is that fighter. A straight on, seek and destroy fighter. We all know they can both bang so ....may the strongest chin win!

It is surprising how quiet ESB is about this fight.

I don't know why? I see nothing special in Antillon. Acosta was much better and will be a harder fight. Rios should handle Antillon quite easily.

I had forgotten about this fight. I wanted to go to Vegas this summer and watch a fight and was hoping they would set this up there. Very disappointed it wasnt.

Oh well now im making plans to go to either Cuba or Jamaica.

i agree with this. Acosta was definetly the tougher test, i am pretty sure Rios will have a much easier time with Antillon. I expect this to be a very exciting fight none the less, cant wait!

    WAR BAM BAM!! :ibutt

Brandon has always done better with skilled boxers than he has with boxers with similar styles as his own.

I'm not convinced this is all that competitive of a fight because I'm fairly sure Antillon isn't going to be capable of absorbing Rios' best shots. I can see Rios stopping Antillon in less than 6 action-filled rounds.
