Tend to agree with this, I want to see more of Rios in a different kind of fight. I kept reading that Anthony Peterson is a "slick" fighter, maybe he is, but he sure as hell wasn't slick last night.

It'd be interesting if Juan was still the fighter he was 3 years ago. But he's not. Rios would beat the living **** outta Diaz at this point..... so therefore I'd love to see it.

I'm not so sure about that.

but it won't happen. Rios is in the Top Rank league and Diaz in the Golden Boy league.

I really dislike and dont understand the Diaz bashing that goes on here at ESB. The kid is likeable, smart, got his **** together and is an all action fighter who has never ducked anyone.

Instead we have a bunch of idiots here who like other idiots like David(ducke)Haye Carl( isuck ****)Froch, and other **** talkers like FLoyd(im scared of Manny)Mayweather. :-(

Diaz's punch resistance is badly declined, as is his trademark workrate. Marquez hurt him in the rematch basically everytime he opened up. Rios would hurt him, and not let up. Add to that the fact that Diaz has nothing to hurt Rios with. I think it'd be a beating, and would end with Juan on the canvas.

In Diaz's prime, its a more interesting fight.

I cant stand Haye or Froch. Floyd is a **** of a human being, but I'm still a fan of his as a fighter cause he's brilliant between the ropes.

I believe I started disliking Diaz when early in his career he got dropped, and weeped like a lil school girl after the fight. And for some reason the dislike just never went away from there. I know he's a good dude, but I just always enjoyed watching him get his ass kicked.

He was pretty good in his prime, but make no mistake, matched carefully. Willie Savanah knew better than to put him in with Corrales, Castillo, or Casamayor. And HBO hyped him up crazy, which made it all the more fun to watch when Campbell beat the **** outta him.

I agree with you about hes an awesome talent in my eyes as good as even the *****s say he is, but dont like his personality or the way he blatantly snubs the fans by not giving us the fight we all want.

How come you dont like Diaz?

Not to carefully Freitas was a dangerous opponent(who has a win over prime Casamayor) and Diaz beat him, also Julio DIaz was considered a tough opponent at the time .Same with Katsidis and undefeated Cotto.

I remember when he cried:lol: That was against Ubaldo Hernandez, hes excused for that though he was 17 i think.
