Brandon Rios. I'm a big fan.

The reason why Rios does not get along with Victor Ortiz.
Ortiz was promoted by Top Rank & trained by Robert Garcia early in his career.
Rios, Steven Luevano, Mikey Garcia & others were already with Top Rank & Garcia at the time.
He filed for bankrupcy in late 2007 to get out of his Top Rank promotional deal & deal with trainer Garcia.
Apparently Ortiz made some pathetic allegations at the hearing about his bankrupcy, heavily critisizing Top Rank & Robert Garcia. Which both categorically denied.
Ortiz is not a very well liked man at all around Oxnard.

 

He is not very well liked by anyone who really knows him. Much like De Lahoya

 

At least De La Hoya backed it up somewhat in the ring.:yep

 

Bam Bam is very good he covers up well on the inside and when the moment is right goes on the assault. I think that Rios is a poor man's Chavez.

I have noticed that you never, ever give Mexican or Mexican-American fighters any credit........I always read you posting something negative about them.

Now I might be wrong but I think you are Pinoy that is hurt, hurt that all your so-called up and coming talent from the Philipines have all been exposed. You see all this Mexican talent and you feel bitter and envious and feel the need to discredit them.

Having said that, he's a puta with speed and power and its no guarantee Bam Bam would beat him.
